Super sympa et quel réalisme , très bon travail de Codemaster . Nous pouvons nous immerger dans ce jeu qui est vraiment très beau. Et les sons moteurs et environnementaux aussi sont hyper bien retranscris merci pour ce beau montage. Continuez Fred. Super nice and what realism, very good work from Codemaster. We can immerse ourselves in this game which is really very beautiful. And the engine and environmental sounds are also very well transcribed, thank you for this beautiful montage. Keep going Fred.👍👌
Just finished this stage in Rally1 career mode. Great job keeping the game in sync with the onboard video Sim. Those rocky outcrops look a little more set back from the road in real life. I bet they hurt a lot more if you crash into them though!
Great comparsion. Wish EA could turn down tarmac grip level a little, becouse game is too fast compared to real life. Watching players going through corners insane speed and manners, you never do it in real life. Game favours somewhatt bravery and little stupidity to get really fast times. Me, who likes to drive clean, correct breaking, smooth exit and so on, i never get a chance.
Thanks mate! Appreciate it. Doesn't mean that the physics aren't realistic in terms of grip as a whole. In the game there are less slippery conditions compared to irl because it's Spring instead of Winter. You can take a lot more risks in the game compared to irl as well for obvious reasons.
Tarmac isn't gripper in game is just that first of all there is no fear factor when you're playing a game allowing you to push way more than irl and since you can replay the stage as much as you want you can master it unlike in real life
Fantastic! This is the best rally sim to date! And yes, it beats RBR in most ways! I would love to see a comparison where you adjust the FOV to match the Rovanpara video.
Superb! - So am I right in thinking your driving on PC matched that of real life? What I would also like to see is a comparison of Col de Turini DR2 v EAWRC same car, same conditions including the final Stage times
Interesting. Initially, it isn't apparent, but then I stopped observing the details and just stare blankly in the middle and focused on the movement of the vehicles. Compared to real life, the WRC looks like it's floating on a calm water with air cushion designed to keep both front and back level.
Yes, the tarmac handling is so much better now, and Monte is amazing, the other tarmac locations aren't as good, hopefully CER will be decent. Personally, I having a hard time enjoying the game because while the tarmac is much better, the gravel handling is a substantial step backwards. I pretty much agree with your points about the weaknesses of the physics, and handling, and what needs refinement. I find myself going back to DR2 to drive the AWD cars on gravel because the gravel handling is so much better in DR2. If they can get the gravel handling in this game closer to what it is in DR2, we'll have a very good rally game.
The other tarmac locations are pretty great too but then again, I'm a tarmac boy all the way. Hahah I actually think gravel is more accurate now compared to DR2.0. What was better according to you when it comes to DR2.0 gravel physics?
@@SimsRacingDesign I think the way you can rotate the cars around, and break traction, and spin the tires to sweep the turns is much more accurate in DR2 IMO (not that DR2 handling is super realistic). Since I'm not a rally driver, I do try to avoid the what is more "realistic" discussions. So while I can't say for sure which game's gravel handling is more "realistic", I can say that for me, the gravel handling is much more fun in DR2. I have seen a lot of people saying there is too much grip on gravel, someone said that Petter Solberg thought so as well. I just think with how much people liked the gravel handling in DR2, refining the physics/handling on gravel to make it drive more like DR2 would make the game more fun, and enjoyable. Also, I didn't comment on your review video, but I thought is was pretty fair, and balanced, and I agree with your comments about the physics/handling. Nice job on the review video.
curious what AI difficulty most people are playing on in career. some of the stages are incredibly technical and difficult and the rally1 cars are just so freakin fast it's hard just to get through some stages in one piece. wouldn't be so big a deal with KTs ultra arcadey handling, but I'm having a much tougher (but fun) time with this one
Well, it's not the same season. This ingame footage is at Spring and not Winter. If you select winter in the game, everything is covered in snow and ice, and it's far too slippery compared to irl footage.
@@SimsRacingDesign there is too much saturation and brightness in all stages regardless the season. See the colour palette in RBR real life stages. It's way better than EA SPORTS WRC.
@@classic7376 it's already a lot better than it was in DR2.0. Also keep in mind that you just can't create such lighting and such in RBR because that game engine is just not capable of it. There's no shine or reflections coming off the cars in RBR so that's not realistic either and there's plenty more things graphically with that game.
Great work!
Thanks mate! Appreciate it.

thanks so much. perfect job!

Glad to hear it! You'll find me in the top 25 somewhere with the Rally1 in case you want a challenge.

That's a bit difficult because we can't recreate the exact same conditions on both games.
Does more tarmac grip in EAWRC mean faster stage times than DR2? @@SimsRacingDesign it would be interesting to find out
If i get in game finnish own pacenotes i cant ask more would be perfect or even finnish co driver

Yeah, looking in the middle makes you realise the roads are pretty much the same. The suspension is quite forgiving in the game though.

It's quite challenging to get the most out of it. I can be very quick straight out of the box but it's finding those final seconds or tenths.
