hay bro a friend of mine has a dodge dakota 2000 or so with rear disc brakes do you have to remove the whole axel to replace rear wheel bearing or whats the deal he thinks he has to but well i could be wrong if it had drum brakes it wood have to well any help thanks the haynes manual only shows a drum brake preceder well no vids really on mention of bearing rear wise with disk brakes all have axel removal with drums well thanks
that is a 8.25 differential not a 9.25. And you do have to remove the axle to install new axle bearings.

yes you have to remove the axles to get the bearings out
When your differential went bad was it humming and not wanting to go fast up hill
what was it doing to want to look in there i have clicking when we take off and if a dead stop and turn left it clicks like crazy
