The Vision of Aso O. Tavitian | Great Collectors at Sotheby's

Sotheby’s is pleased to present "The Vision of Aso O. Tavitian." An avid collector across a range of disciplines, Aso Tavitian’s collection will be offered in a series of four sales during Master’s Week New York in the beginning of February 2025. This collection is a true celebration of art, craftsmanship, and Tavitian’s eye for the extraordinary.
Live and online auctions within "The Vision of Aso O. Tavitian," from 24 January through 11 February, include everything from early Netherlandish works to 18th-century portraits by artists like William Bouguereau and George Romney, as well as remarkable sculptures by Lemoyne, Cavaceppi, and Carrier-Belleuse. Following this, highlights from Tavitian’s Manhattan and Stockbridge homes will be offered, featuring beautiful 18th-century English mahogany furniture by Chippendale and Goodison, paired with fine carpets, Japanese prints, Iznik tiles, and pietra dura tables.
