I really think the missing in line dongle killed me too. A lot of big reviewers missed that point. A little bit of me is kind of happy because I bought 933s for my dad and I a few years back. And without that dongle it isn't as versatile as it should be, as that was what put them above everyone in tandem with the replaceable battery.
Chris Nguyen they both have 3.5mm and you can just download dolby atmos if it really made that much difference. You lost sound and mic quality for no reason
I actually ordered white 933 on amazon and 2 minutes later cancelled it! I got 935's for almost £20 less - yes - LESS! ...from the same amazon page - from the suggestions on the bottom and yes - it was a sale for my good luck. Very happy and satisfied - bass is very deep and punchy - just amazing. No drop outs for over a year - just turn off sleep option. RGB is very cool looking if you have a camera from the back - if you streaming for example! The reason is on the back and sides is so it doesn't show reflection on your own screen. Personally I do not use the RGB as it does drain the battery - its a nice show off feature imo. Letherette is easier to clean than the mesh. 3.5 mm jack line-in is in the earcup next to charging point - its not the same as on the dongle but it will let you use them even if battery goes flat or removed - I guess this is great. I liked the video - keep up the good work.
Can you describe exactly how g935 sounds better than g933 and how significant the difference is? Is DTS2 worth losing the ability to switch between DTS1 and Dolby (which in my opinion sounded way better than DTS)?
3.5 jack in the usb dongle is useless now, i have put the receiver in my sony tv and i get the sound on the headphones. Without any configuration etc. Also g533 worked in the same way. So.... why having that when you can use them via wireless dongle on pretty much evrything including ps4/xbox one x etc?
if the dongle not having the 3.5 jack is a problem and you need it for some reason you can buy a replacement dongle for the g933s or use a old one you have around and pair them together
Crazy that I can't find a straight comparison video of the A50's vs the g935. I didn't realize the 935's just came out. I also copped mine for 130 which is the same price as their other new model the Pro X. The Pro X quit working after like 2 hours, software isn't finished yet on them I had to return them for these. Torn if I should just return them and shell out the extra for the A50's or not.
Great review, i had the g430 for around 4 years and decided to buy the g635 because i thought they were gonna be a lot better than g430, well the sound quality of g635 its amazing on stereo mode, heavy bass, crystal clear and loud sound but, one HUGE problem for me is that they removed Dolby surround and in my opinion that makes g430 better than g635 in that case, sometimes i even switch to my old headphones to play pubg or any competitive game just to give me this positioning 3d audio that Dolby offers. Now i've been thinking to sell the g635 and buy the old g633 just for the Dolby surround because what i really want is to know where my enemy is behind or front and which side, DTS x 2.0 feels like stereo to me with a huge bass boost and very poor surround, many times i find my self confusing back sounds and front sounds, this have never happened with Dolby, so i've been thinking to sell them and get the Artemis g633, unless i wait if logitech puts back Dolby at g635? what should i do? hope i make sense, sorry for the long comment and thank you for reading.
I ordered these. My only complaint is no bluetooth. Sure usb is okay and I sometimes prefer usb over bluetooth, but I would have preferred logitech to have a switch to activate bluetooth so I don't have to carry around a usb c to usb dongle all the time if I want to use these headphones on the go.
What’s the range like on these compared to the 933? I gave my 933 to my son as they would cut out if I let the dog out or went to the fridge. I’m trying to find a wirelss headset that gives a reliable 50+ feet of range.
Heyy I have a problem with my g935 wireless, why when I have the headset connected with aux there is a big change in volume difference, with aux the headset sounds much louder while when connected wireless it sounds extremely lower?
Had a very nice pair of Astro a50s battery has went out and cannot send it to Astro for battery replacement cannot find anybody locally that would be willing to replace battery so basically out $300 and have to make a decision do I want to buy another set of Astros I have had Astros for many years this is the second set I think it's time to give up on Astro they would not back at 100%. My second set of Astros are only about one-and-a-half years old a50s very nice but not going to spend $300 every year and a half and especially since I can't replace the battery easily just a heads up to anyone.
Apparently you missed the fact they have updated drivers in the headset. If your brain missed it he meant speakers put out better bass. Drivers produce the sound, we aren’t talking about windows drivers.
@@Evil_Chronic Lets try to keep it as scientific as possible. versus.com/en/logitech-g933-vs-logitech-g935 You'd be surprised on how little difference the sound quality is. 50mm from 40mm really doesn't make that much of a difference. the Dolby support is on both. Software drivers do a hell of a lot more for sound quality than hardware drivers anyways. But at this point its ridiculous. It's been 5 years since the G933 and the G935 wasn't even released with USB - C. Big oof.
I copped my G933 for $100 a year before the G935. Totally worth it, still use them till this day.

You already know that I agree...

Im late by a year but you can use a G933 dongle in the 935 strangely enough

about that 3.5 mm jack removal for wireless... can you just get a 3.5 mm usb adapter for it?
The headset has 3.5 jack

Hi, how does the G935 or G635 compares with the HyperX Revolver? I am about to buy a new headphone and just don't know which one to choose.

love em there awesome just got em get em
Astro A50 gen3 vs g935?
The G935 do not stand the test of time. The range is great but the sound is horrible. I think it is the software not the headset though.
I will get the 933s because i already have a mic that is good enough
am I the only one who thinks the g935's brightness is much lower , compared for example, the g502 mouse with rgb?...
Still got my G933's... much cheaper and same as G935 aside from "mic quality" which is absolutely fine on the G933
Cash grab release
