@Herb W.: True. And if you ask any tax payer where'd they prefer their taxes to go: a lot of them will say to education for our youth and to the Vets that served this country.
Adam.... Please keep the childish sense in ALL of your videos, I think people have forgotten the importance of having childish fun and how much more enjoyable things can be when you be yourself, laugh, and not care what others think.
I'm always amazed what gets left behind. Most of it is junk now, but when this place closed some of the restaurant equipment probably could have been sold. Televisions everywhere, furniture could have possibly been sold or at the very least given to goodwill.
forget these people hating on your comedy. I thought it was pretty freakin hilarious. I also admire the fact that you go exploring simply to explore and you respect the property in the places you go. not once have I seen you intentionally vandalize or destroy anything! keep up the good work!
Great vid, Adam! Gnarly fun having Cody along. Dang! That place sure is Wasp Central! Hope that Lil kitty finds some yummy mice and rats to eat! Maybe upstairs is his Dining Room, the one w all the critter skulls! Cute Lil kitty! :-)
The last time I was down in the Everglades it was the middle of January and the one night it got down in the upper 30's. During the day was pretty nice making it into the mid 60's. It has turned out to be the coldest day of the year. I would say winter is the best time to visited here.
So where are the rich bums to turn this in to a homeless shelter or battered woman shelter? The place is mostly intact. Add some solar lighting and get the sewers up and running, add a water truck for drinking water and have the '"tenets" paint and do minor fix ups to pay their rent. it would be not too bad. (and get the state game dept to remove the owl.)
My friends and I used to "investigate" abandoned places around our home town, mostly houses. The creepiest was a house where the family had been killed in a car accident. Everything was still just as they had left it - food in the fridge, even clothes in the washing machine. My fear was that we would run into homeless people that might be living in the places. I wasn't really worried they would hurt us. I just knew that running across anybody would be terrifying.
I can't be the only Woovian that wants ATW to bring back cody for another video someday soon when back home please, your great and he only adds to your adventure. Even though you say i don't have to ask my mom i did and she totally approves ! Been watching since the beginning .Stay safe brother
David Stanford, Rob Bayne.... I haven't lived in Moore Haven for many a year but I have family there. I believe it was being used for certifying/recertifying local firemen & ems, staged fires, etc although I'm not completely sure if that is how it burned down. As for some history on it, It was built in 1984-1985, my son's father worked with the building crew &a few years later I worked as a desk receptionist for the Riverboat Inn. Van Hicks was manager& in 1989-1990 the owner Tom? from sold(franchised) into Red Roof Inn, George Kellaher became manager for awhile. In it's time, it was a happening place. Big wknd bar crowds, good food in the restaurant & fun/friendly employees. I meet Mel Tillis there& a 1970 something player of GB Packers that loved talking about the Super Bowl ring he wore. Sooo many stories have been made there. Everyone in Moore Haven has at least one interesting story involving the RiverBoat Inn I'm sure.
The house where we went was near Atlanta, GA (where I grew up). I actually feel guilty about going inside after that kind of a tragedy but we were just dumb kids at the time. Plus, a bunch of others we knew had already been there so we didn't have to break in or anything - the back door was open. It was truly one of the eeriest experiences of my life. You mentioned the photos in the house - definitely bone-chilling!
I've got few questions 1 we do they leave there stuff like chairs and cup and TVs 2 why did they abandoned it 3 why would you leave it to rust so many questions to ask :-P
Thanks, Adam! Amen to that!! :-) Sammy Davis Jr. was often billed as the "greatest living entertainer in the world". The son of vaudeville star Sammy Davis Sr., he was known as someone who could do it all--sing, dance, play instruments, act, do stand-up--and he was known for his self-deprecating humor; he once heard someone complaining about discrimination, and he said, "Man, you got it easy. I'm a short, ugly, one-eyed, black. What do you think it's like for me?"
Yeah, they don't do those types of lawsuits in the country I live in now. If you start one you'll be hassled to pieces, totally ridiculed. Probably a judge won't even agree to hear it and could even insult you.
It's 30 miles from civilization on the edge of the Florida Bay. No one went there for the motel's look. It was built in the 50s and it wasn't Andrew, it was Wilma.
Another fantastic place. Good to see Co-D before the tidal wave ruined his day. Any plans on ever heading to the west coast of Florida. Weeki Wachee seems right up your alley.
Just loved this interesting exploration Mr.Woo. It never ceases to amaze me when viewing areas such as this. Someone definitely gave it up didn.t they! Such a waste! Please keep up your great work! Mr. Codee is a little doll baby too.
Adam, just caught the fever for your vids. Not sure what it is but you got something. Love your videos. If your ever up Washington State area, let's kick it and check out some cool sites.
Dude... I have seen Willy Wonka easily 1,000 times - Can quote it etc etc and it amazes me that I have never seen that little girl get plunked by the bar top - The magic happens at 2:19 I believe when he goes back behind the bar - and give the girl credit - she takes it on the chin and doesn't miss a beat ~
Cool the way your commentary is never rehearsed or fake. It's all natural yet brilliant! You do great work in your own but Co-D and Scott enrich your vids. Long live The Woo!
Those are egg crates. Used to work at a grocery store in high school and if you didn't stack them the right way they would just sit down in the bottom crate and crush the eggs in said crate. Needless to say I learned a few times. lol
Canadian, didn't it burn down about a month ago. I went there in 1986, it wasn't too bad then. Didn't think it would survive there. Moore Haven's just too rural for that place. Good luck to your Terriers.
I guess if the humor and remarks bother you... Why not turn the sound off and enjoy the exploring? I would love to find some of these. And.... Don't you worry about getting a "Trespassing" charge?
Glades county is not the Everglades its on the west side of lake Okeechobee mostly big sugar orange groves and empty towns trying to hang on as you can see in this video some can not hang on richard in fort Lauderdale
another awesome video Adam, gotta say, i really like your video's, almost seen them all, keep these awesome video's coming Adam, you rock ;-))) Would love 2 see you go 2 Waverly Hills one day, hope you go see it someday, cheers Adam, have a good 1, ;-) Dani
This country has WAY too many homeless veterans for a building like that to just go to waste!
@Herb W.: True. And if you ask any tax payer where'd they prefer their taxes to go: a lot of them will say to education for our youth and to the Vets that served this country.
US swine are pinky by color, already. So what difference does it make?
Why veterans? There are millions of ordinary people homeless in the USA.
But housing them is not enough; they have to work, and jobs get scarce.
I can't believe the amount of stuff they left behind. Even TV's. It's like everyone just suddenly made a run for it and never came back.
I was thinking the same thing. Did a hurricane chase them out?
If I was homeless, this is what I'd be looking for
Adam.... Please keep the childish sense in ALL of your videos, I think people have forgotten the importance of having childish fun and how much more enjoyable things can be when you be yourself, laugh, and not care what others think.

Aww that cat looked so sweet and friendly!

Holy shit I thought cody was some random guy I freaked out
Omg, this was hilarious. Forget the haters, I love your videos and so do your fans.
The feather was from an owl. And all the skulls and bones were what the owl had eaten...
Holy crap. That's a lot of wasp nests. I bet an exterminator would make a killing there.
Lmbbo!
Cody: "I think I probably could fit down in there but I'm not going to because I'm afraid of spiders" same Cody same xD
I know the location on Rt. 27, the town got hit bad by hurricanes and never recovered.
I was wondering what happened, but why does it remain empty?
@@tamarastacey9399 Because the town never recovered.
You and your friends that tag along always give me a good laugh xD
"Want some scotch?!" - 3:44 "Is it Jack?" - 5:57. Nice scream at 8:12.

that kitty was so friendly for a stray :3
I think that was the wasp that stung Cody.
Love!!!! I'm always dying laughing watching you LOL :-D
Drove by here yesterday; it is completely leveled and the property is cleared. Moore Haven FL.
My friends and I used to "investigate" abandoned places around our home town, mostly houses. The creepiest was a house where the family had been killed in a car accident. I'm convinced he was dropped on his head as a child.
So cute cat in video wanted to take it home when I saw it

"that's my trophy dance" xD
I've got few questions 1 we do they leave there stuff like chairs and cup and TVs 2 why did they abandoned it 3 why would you leave it to rust so many questions to ask :-P
Really good video! I love seeing the abandoned hotels in Florida. Co-D is a trip. He wasn't having nothing to do with climbing down that hole. lol
nice find adam. How much time do you spend in these places since you do a lot of 3rd person shots
Thank you for taking me on your travels!
Another great adventure Adam & Co-D! Thanks for the fun!
Love the cassette with Arabic writing on it.
it would be great if you had a time frame on how long this places were abandoned.
Thanks, Adam! Amen to that!! :-)

I'm a short, ugly, one-eyed, black. What do you think it's like for me?"
Hey Adam, love the stuff you do man! keep it up.
Heh, pretty sure you were walking in owl barf @12:40. Now I want to know what kind of perch was up above that shot (bare rafters?).
The cat is the only redeeming factor in this video.
I'm glad you didn't kill the wasps. I believe that they emit some kind of smell that attracts more of them, and angry, so that was a good idea.
That looks just like the "Glades Inn and Lounge" which is an abandoned motel just north of Moore Haven, FL on US-27.
That's exactly what I thought!
I drove by this place a couple of days a go and they are beginning to tear it down. It won't be standing much longer.
Holy cow. Didn't realize this place was closed down. Great job, Adam.
What kind of crates were they? What were they used for?
You guys are very entertaining keep up the good work
You guys have the job that I wish I had!
I'm sure Adam cries into his stacks of cash because of all of y'all's comments.
He wipes the tears with Grants
Hi I really enjoy all the videos you share have a wonderful weekend 😎 ☺️
Yeah, they don't do those types of lawsuits in the country I live in now. If you start one you'll be hassled to pieces, totally ridiculed. Probably a judge won't even agree to hear it and could even insult you.
My favorites are the ones where you have companions.
The old Riverboat in Moore Haven. Why Tony opened that up there is beyond me.
I always found the plural to wasp HILARIOUS...! Waspspsspspsppssss ^_^
me too dude is funny
That could be the old hotel in Flamingo. If so, I ate lunch there the day before Andrew struck in '92. It never re-opened after the hurricane.
I think it is too. It closed down in 2005. It was a cool place!
poblano11 Really? It looks like it was 1970's ugly. At least one good thing came out of Andrew.
It's 30 miles from civilization on the edge of the Florida Bay. No one went there for the motel's look. It was built in the 50s and it wasn't Andrew, it was Wilma.
poblano11 I knew it! Too much left behind...like they didn't plan to leave!
Another fantastic place. Good to see Co-D before the tidal wave ruined his day. Any plans on ever heading to the west coast of Florida. Weeki Wachee seems right up your alley.

Why does Florida have so many abandoned places? Have there been that may real estate failures and lost fortunes?
Dude, you definitely had more fun making videos in Florida!
I hope you took that poor little kitty home with you.
just looked up the candyman scene and yes, the little girl gets owned by the counter...LOL Thanks Adam
Milk crates, right? And God, that place looks like it was abandoned in 1998, not 2006, with the projectors and the stage with the carpet steps.
Hey Adam ! What kind of crates were those old blue ones ?
Adam, just caught the fever for your vids. Not sure what it is but you got something. Love your videos. If your ever up Washington State area, let's kick it and check out some cool sites.
i'd like to buy it and open a nudist camp
yay Co-D ive missed you! :3 lol love both ur singing at the end! ^__^

Brilliant! I was in a bad mood before watching this! Thanks for cheering me up Adam! :-D.
Should've taken that art to the roadshow. They're blue crates! Haha. They must be egg crates
Haha. The narration of going up the stairs. Worthy of morgan freeman.
Those are egg crates. Used to work at a grocery store in high school and if you didn't stack them the right way they would just sit down in the bottom crate and crush the eggs in said
crate. Needless to say I learned a few times. lol
You know what is abandoned, yet...not; you must film for us the ruins of the Dry Tortuga!
How long ago was it that you were there and where is this located I would like to go and explore it.
at 1:35 when Co-D made his entrance, I was like " HELL YEAH " (I did not read the description before hand )
Canadian, didn't it burn down about a month ago. I went there in 1986, it wasn't too bad then. Didn't think it would survive there. Moore Haven's just too rural for that place. Good luck to your Terriers.
"Innocent Wasp-Standard".. haha! I like it!
I guess if the humor and remarks bother you... Why not turn the sound off and enjoy the exploring? I would love to find some of these. And.... Don't you worry about getting a "Trespassing" charge?
Come up to Pensacola. There's an abandoned hotel that I'm dying to check out. John Wayne and other celebs stayed at this place in the 50's.
the candy man you guys are hysterical loved it!!!!
Oi! I left my trophy in there after I told my boss to stick it!
looks like a building I have seen in the Glades series with detective jim longworth
Hotel videos are fun to make you guys are a trip never ran into anyone in the rooms. must have been an experience. I always enjoy your videos.

Hopeless512 q

Do you ever find dead bodies in those old places? Frakin' creepy places! I love it!
Haunt the earth!
I love Adamwoo so many awesome adventures ❤️❤️💖💖💜💜💛💛💚💚❤️❤️
Actually it would take 149 people to break the rules. 148 people would simple meet capacity. Let's be accurate please!!!
Glades county is not the Everglades its on the west side of lake Okeechobee mostly big sugar orange groves and empty towns
trying to hang on as you can see in this video some can not hang on

The hotel is now gone. They took it down about four months ago.
What kind of crates were they I wanna know! Egg crates maybe?
would it kill u to give the name, location and a little history before u start?
joe pish Would it kill them to drop the slapstick and dumb ass jokes and comments? Oh look.....a cat.
And they did put the name in the title -_-
And they did put the name in the title -_-
@TheNauseator Most of the time, the vandals had already beat him there.
The sidekick would give Brady Barr a run for his money in the goofball stakes.
XD
