Very good informative video. Thank you. Been searching for a while for someone to show me how the workflow is with this piece of equipment. Very satisfied with the sampler, too.
You are welcome! Please contact me with any questions, I am finding out neat tricks on the MicroSAMPLER all the time. I am happy to make you a custom tutorial video, if you have a list of questions :)
I'm a bit bummed that you can only do 1 keyboard sound at a time within a pattern. Resampling solves a lot, but I always feel I am losing work when I resample / collapse it. I'll play with it more :)
Another fine example of what you can do with this fine instrument. Check out my channel for some finished products done with the awesomeness that is the microSampler.
Thank so much it was very helpful, I'm a beginner I'm clearly understood, I have to say it it look different in the beginner, but I have good focus. Thank again your Avery goodteach
HAHAHA!! That didn't sound like house music at all! It sounded more like when a team of undercover cops in 70s or 80s movies are waiting in vehicles and different locations spying on their nearby suspects with binoculars while signaling one another with radios and are waiting to make a move!
Thank so much it was real helpful clip, also it is instrumental from the 70 and 80 move cop it is dones no applicabel to dance at All but still go for interview back ground documentary
Thanks for this instructional video. I have a sorta odd question about the Microsampler. One of my ideas is to play the Microsampler like the old Mellotron tape sampler. I have recordings of the original Mellotron tapes, one for each of the Tron's 37 keys. Each key played an 8 second tape. How easy is it to use to just play the Microsampler like its a keyboard or synth? How is it as far as polyphony? I'd love to see an investigation of this, as my sampler hasn't arrived yet.
Mellotronaic hi! I'm looking to do pretty much the same thing and wondered if you were successful and/or had any tips? My microsampler should arrive next week. Thanks!
Ryan Hay The MicroSampler works great as a Mellotron emulator. One of the best uses of this cool keyboard for sure. I have the entire collection of Mellotron banks in MS format if you are interested! I like adding some decay/release to certain sounds, something you can't do with the original Mellotron. Hit me up anytime
This is AWESOME. I'm going to use mine to bring my Yamaha CS REFACE to life.
That's a fantastic idea. Have fun!
I wish they still made this little sampler, it's workflow and concept is perfect for me.

Thanks for this video. I have this synth but haven't got to use it yet and lost the manual so this really helps.

Woah woah... Give me a few good reasons to hate the MicroSampler, please?
thanks man :)
i hate my microsampler, but maybe i should give it another chance...
What. It's a masterpiece.
Why are you counting? The key number is displayed in the LCD. Duh.
+Frankie Baker My samples were labeled appropriately and thus no longer numbered as default samples. Duh. :)
