Hey, guys. I didn't have any of those symptoms except fatigue. My twice a year check up did show my hemoglobin being low and my doctor said I was bleeding somewhere. She mentioned this in all my visits in 4 years. I just brushed it off because I felt fine. I also didn't follow her recommendation to have an endoscopy after 50 or 55 years old. Then one evening I just started vomiting every 15 minutes in a restaurant. I was diagnosed with a stage 4 stomach cancer with a tumor bigger than a softball. The bleeding was coming from the tumor. That was in 2020. Thanks be to God and MSKCC in NYC and New Jersey, I'm still around, cancer free. Just wanted to share this symptom. BTW, I'm a physical therapist, too. God bless.
Wow you are so lucky it happened before they shut everything down...I am in Canada but 2 relatives in NY died after 2022. I had to have surgury in 2020 & I am also glad it happened before 2021 because things are very messed up now...there was so much suffering because of delays
Appreciate this. My husband just died from a cancer that started near a kidney inside the ureter. He was losing weight for no good reason, the dr found early kidney failure in December. By February they finally found the cancer and he died the first week in March. He had a lot of the other symptoms- recurrent fever, fatigue, and increasing pain that they thought was just his joints. It wasn’t- the cancer had spread to his bones. It’s 🇨🇦- the biopsy took too long to get to, the diagnosis took too long- they blamed it on staff shortages but then the oncology team didn’t get to him until the day before he died. I think the system here is overwhelmed for political reasons that can’t be mentioned.
Thanks for all your helpful vids. I just went through treatment for 2 different cancers within 6 months. I use your vids as I get my strength back. Y’all get checked. Don’t wait!
Thank you for bringing this information forward in a way that is informative but not so scary. Much appreciated. Blessings and Prayers to the entire family.
As a rare cancer survivor...I would like to add...pay attention to your body. Deep down, everyone knows when something isn't right/normal for them. If something concerns you...make an appointment (and don't stop until you are satisfied with the information given). What I thought were bad allegies...possibly were polyps...then turned eventually into a tumor coming down from the base of my brain. I was a very lucky one (for many reasons). Just listen to that inner nagging voice...it can be a matter of life...a reduced quality of life (which thankfully I don't experience)...or death.
Thanks Bob and Brad 😊 I must admit that my cancer experience was probably not the norm. I had surgery and radiation, but no chemo. I was extremely lucky (in fact, I consider it "a blip") in that mine was caught early. I had a fantastic surgeon (right place, right time) and two days later left the hospital with little evidence (only minor swelling..no cuts..no bruising). My point it...especially as we age (I was 38 at that time...in 2009), we MUST listen to our bodies and inner-knowing. Again everyone...if you think/know something's not right/out of the ordinary...make that appointment.
I need to comment today and say these points are 100% spot on. I just lost my dad to cancer a couple of weeks ago (after being diagnosed only a month earlier) and several of these points applied to my him. I was already on the trail of symptoms that his PCP wasn’t piecing together. This only underscores it.
Early Brain Cancer can affect Speech, as well. I know of 2 people who were diagnosed because of it. And one didn't even realize he was talking weird! A work colleague noticed and called for help (SAMU here in France).
If you have had a lifetime of depression and hypochondria, you get ALL OF THE ABOVE! I know, I am 80 now and have had a lifetime suffering with this shit! Not funny! So, stop bloody scaremongering please! To the bald guy, time will catch up with you one day mate! Good kid now! Stick to your physical jerks guys. You are NOT doctors!
If you are having multiple symptoms that may seem like separate issues, please list them and make sure that the doctor is aware of everything you are experiencing. If the doctor blows you off-and this happens more to women-find a doctor who will listen and follow up. Great video, thank you.
Often without symptoms, Prostate Cancer (PC) is usually treatable if caught early. MEN! If you're approaching middle age or older, get your PSA checked regularly and insist on a digital exam. If your doctor refuses to do a digital exam, find a new doctor. About 1 in 8 men will develop PC, and early detection is the key to survival. Bob, Brad, and Mike. How about some exercises for men treated for PC?
I think there is one exception to the rule that the symptoms are vague: A noticeable lump. A relatively hard lump on my breast was enough to indicate cancer to me.. I think a lump on the neck is due to lymphoma. Lumps are pretty obvious sigms.
I noticed my white blood count (WBC) was above the normal range after an annual checkup. My PCP referred me to an oncologist. I have Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia (CLL). You'll have off and on night sweats, swollen lymph nodes, and weight loss as signs. I'm in "Watch and Wait", no treatment is planned until it progresses.
night sweats can also be septic blood infection. My case from routine dental work or cleaning. Doc thought it was the flu. Waiting 3 weeks for a blood culture resulted in heart valve damage. no one should have to have their chest cracked open when penicillin given earlier would have prevented any damage.
Yes, I'm surprised they left out symptoms like lumps or any breast changes in appearance or sensations that could indicate (possible) breast cancer, although most lumps are not cancerous. Breast awareness and annual exams are important.
I am so glad you are a survivor, but I wanted you to know that radiating breast tissue can cause cancer like they do in mammograms. I watched a couple of doctors talk about this.
@@christiangrl45 Thank you for this information. None of my oncology doctors (surgeon, radiation oncologist or medical oncologist) told me this. I will mention it at my next appointments.

They really did refer to things that my dad (and me and my mom) just took as somewhat run-of-the-mill. Without expanding on details, my dad’s PCP missed some big flags and didn’t put some things together (of course, hindsight is 20/20). No, it wasn’t this video that told me, but it is only mirroring what I just came to learn. If the simple messages in this video can help someone else, this is a good service.
hey guys. stop with the "fancy" quick pan in and out. People who are ill, take your pick of illness, will find that very painful. Had to stop watching.
I’m a massage therapist. One of the things I do for clients is run them through a quick assessment. Sometimes we don’t realize that we’ve been putting up with symptoms for too long, or don’t realize that there’s been a change. I care about the whole person, not just the muscles.

Most men die with it not from it. The doctor that invented the test said it’s not reliable.
