The way you describe being busy all day and then when you lay down at night you just want to sleep. That’s how I feel EVERY DAY after work. It’s so frustrating bc I just want to read! I feel you girl

It’s super normal in Europe and Asia to just live at home even well into your 20s. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to move out quickly

i really dont understand why in the us is so important to move out so early on in your life, here in spain you cna be 25-30 yo and nobody even question anything, stay with your parents, save money (life's rough) and enjoy your family in the meantime ♡

I remember seeing so many people commenting on that video "stop drinking so many energy drinks, that's why you have anxiety and panic attacks" and it made me so angry. That is so ignorant. I have awful anxiety completely random for no reason and I almost never drink energy drinks. And I'm 30 years old so it's not a "grow up" or "grow out of it" kind of thing. It's not a phase, it's not a plot for attention (majority of the time those with mental health issues keep it to themselves) so people who don't suffer from it or have a medical degree and years of training shouldn't say a damn thing about it. Love you Des and support you in all you do. Congrats on the merch and 1 year of the pod. Keep up the amazing work! You're killing it girl!

Girl, I moved out to live with a significant other and it did not go well. I’m also in a super fortunate situation and my very grateful that at 26 my parents let me come right back home after a shitty situation. Know that your fam is there for you now and will always be.

Hi Des! As a pale girlie some of the best sunscreens ive ever tried are actually baby sunscreens- Aveeno baby zinc 50spf is thick but helps a lot with sensitive skin as well as works deeper than basic coverage. And for face suncreen - isntree's hyaluronic acid watery sun gel works amazing under makeup and its 50 spf, hope this can be helpful!

A couple of months ago (I think it was the beginning of march) I got really into korean skincare (which I have to say: SLAYYYS!!!) and I bought the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Screen (SPF 50+)! It's really lightweight and not greasy at all (I have oily skin so I know hihi). Give it a try if you want!! I'm sooo looking forward to the bookmarked merch and hope I won't forget (because I'm living in Germany, which means the merch drops at 12am on Sunday - hopefully I won't sleep by then). I think having boundaries/privacy on what you share on social media is always important. I’m sorry to hear people were making comments that were uncomfortable and hard to read. Social media has made it too easy to just say whatever these days.

I also disconnect myself when good things "happen to me" (I worked hard and earned said thing) so I completely understand what you're saying. I think something that helped me is knowing that yes I may be lucky to have earned success, but I did earn it and you have too! hi bestie!! I also struggle with my skin and one thing I recently discovered was biotin can trigger breakouts if you’re acne prone and there is biotin in the alani drinks! as soon as I stopped drinking them my skin cleared up

24:27 i really like the cerave lightweight one for oily skin. i find that if i use the la roche posay cicaplast as a moisturizer under it it’s my power duo. idk if you have oily skin or not but i do find that it leaves a healthy glow even though it supposedly leaves a matte finish (maybe it’s the double moisturizer) but i truly recommend. i’ve gone through idk how many of them they’re my ride or die
also i have a trial size glow screen from supergoop that i find looks SO GOOD under makeup but i want to try the elf glowy sunscreen bc i think it would be a great dupe
I use the Aveeno spf moisturizer to begin with & Supergoop tinted spf & it’s so nice for the summer! 🥰🥰
