It has been a long while since I last watched the film, but I think I probably agree with you, though I also never quite understood his fixation on Mina - he may believe she is his wife reincarnate but she is not the same person. Having read the book as a young man, I am probably confusing the narrative in that where Harker's blood has an influence on him which is quite different to in this film. One thing I am sure of though is this music is a perfectly titled piece of perfection. I hope it brings you solace in a tough time. All the best.

This is basically the sound of True love that was lost and found again. The music in “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” was so haunting that it makes me tear up every time I hear it. Dracula, with all of his faults, is someone who really needs love. Oldman played him in a way that was so different than anything I’ve seen before.

I felt as if (at least in the movie) Mina was Elizabeth in a past life and Dracul recognized that fact.
I think it was implied mina was draculas lost wife reincarnated since mina said she had faint memories of her past life

This is basically the sound of True love that was lost and found again. The music in “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” was so haunting that it makes me tear up every time I hear it. Dracula, with all of his faults, is someone who really needs love. Oldman played him in a way that was so different than anything I’ve seen before.
