The trainer paraded him around like a circus pony for her own personal gain until the horse had laminitis bad enough to be out down. Literally won the two tempo challenge one night and had to be put down the next day. They claim sudden onset. I have reason the believe otherwise.
thats sad.... surely judges or anyone would have noticed his limping of the legs during the ride. sad no one pulled them from competition. Was it not a usef usdf competition? in a usef usdf competition, vet checks are done, and if horses is lame and shows issues the horse cannot be competed on at all. no matter what. unless he is clear of his injury, by vets. which im sure she wasnt or wouldnt have been...if she wasnt checked.
She only showed him in exhibition events like the one in the video which was a charity fundraiser and the two tempi challenge which was to see who can do the most two tempi's in a row, and I think there was a few more events.
that would make sense.... if you only compete at funraiser events and events that arent ACTUALLY shows then you will be less likely to get caught with a lame horse or anything like that. (sadly;that is why alot more go to the events rather then a actually competition)
Are you saying that they competed him without resolving his laminitis issues ? This would be so disheartening :( In this video he even looks a little too meaty for a breed susceptible to issues like laminitis. Meaty not in a muscle way lol
Things I hate about dressage: TWOOOOO HUGE BITS, neck looks painful, spurs stabing the horse, so many stuff around the horses face and lastly human don't even care like if you think I'm right. (I'm not trying to make dressage or anything bad but they should stop making painful.) I don't know if I should post this. And by the way.... Don't get mad at me its just what I think you may hate me for this

Oh mein Gott😱 das war doch kein Galopp mehr das war ein Tanz also so was schönes habe ich noch nie gesehen nur die Leiterin könnte mal versuchen besser verdeckt zu treiben und das Pony nicht so fies zu treten wenn das nicht hilft dann empfehle ich sporen nur da muss man sehr vorsichtig sein um dem Pony nicht weh zu tun aber man muss es ja nicht treten mit sporen reicht es meist schon leicht zu tippen Oder man holt die Knie mehr ans Pferd dann dreht sich das bein automatisch und du trotzt dein pferd nicht mehr mit dem fiesen ungemütlichen hacken Überleg mal wie es wohl für dich währe wenn du nur damit du schneller liegst auf Dauer immer mit spitzen hacken in die rippen getreten und dann stell die mal gibt du wirst damit du schnelle leufst nur von dem weichen aber gut fühlbaren schenkeldruck angetrieben Was währe dir wohl lieber???????😍

+MoonLight Mystique all I know is that they announced he had laminitis the morning after he competed in the two tempi challenge. And never recovered.
