The Assetto Corsa, which debuted in 2008, was produced as a limited edition car. Only 49 units were produced since the Abarth was found in 1949.
The same chassis as the one make car, it has a welded full roll gauge stretched from the front to rear, and a s a result of removing all the comfort elements from the interior which wasn’t necessary other than racing, the car loses nearly 180kg making it 930kg.
The power unit produces 190hp by light tuning such as a dedicated turbine.
The brakes and suspension have also been strengthened, and special dampers and special strengthening springs have been installed.
The wheels are equipped with OZ Racing 17-inch specially designed aluminum wheels with 195 / 50R17 tires.
If you drive the Fiat Abarth Assetto Corsa, which originally has the specifications dedicated to the circuit, in the city, it is obviously over-engineered, but while enjoying the exhaust note that plays a pleasant sound, the quick steering response and sharp acceleration and deceleration are enough for driving in the city. You can enjoy driving.
Of course, if you drive to the fullest on the circuit, you will find that it is a cornering machine that cannot be imagined from its small size.
I think the Assetto Corsa, which is full of exquisite stimulation that you can never get the taste of in a road car, is a sports car that has the soul of Abarth.
