Ukraine launches new Kursk counter-offensive deepening Putin's casualty crisis

  • "There are indeed the places where the Ukrainians are attacking in some areas now as well. So it's not inconceivable that you would see up to a battalions worth of casualties over a 48 hour period."
Renewed offensive maneuvers in Kursk will create issues for Putin as Russia struggles with "unsustainable" troop losses and recruitment problems, George Barros from ‪@UnderstandingWarOrg‬ tells Frontline.

Do you think there's such thing as winning a war in the modern era? Peace means surrender and loss of land, continuing the fight means millions more casualties.
Do you think UA is going to even survive peace at the rate they're suffering casualties? The war hasn't effected Moscow enough to destabilize the country while UA is surviving off of aid and will need serious rebuilding. I doubt The US wants to foot the bill to rebuild another country, they barely can stomach the 'lethal Aid' let alone sending billions more to corrupt oligarchs which are nearly impossible to differentiate from their Russian counterparts. Times needs to realize that "Russia" and "Moscow" are not one and the same; Russia can be suffering mass economic damage and as long as Muscovites are well fed and taken care of they don't care what Putin does.

      Cute propaganda.
Men are dying while you shout slogans.
In "standing with" Ukraine, the Biden-Harris administration convinced them to abandon a peace deal that would have ceded only half of the territory that Russia now occupies. And for that opportunity to lose twice as much of their homeland, they paid with tens of thousands of innocent lives.
We did this to control the $11 trillion of minerals under the Donbas. We did it to grind down the Russian war machine on the grist of Ukrainian teenagers. We did it to hand out hundreds of billions of dollars to US hedge funds, who are, as we speak, carving up rights to Ukraine's fertile soil and vast natural resources.
The truth is that the United States has never stood with the people of Ukraine. That is simply a jingle -- an ad campaign, broadcast to those who have never been there, designed to sell taxpayers on the appeal of prolonging war for profit.
We have cost Ukraine her territory. We have cost Ukraine her children. The war hawks and the bankers are no friends to Ukraine

Notice that this guy never gives the Ukrainian casualty rate that is likely higher than Russia’s.
Doesn’t mention Ukrainian high desertion rate that has thousands of troops fleeing the battlefield.
Doesn’t mention that Ukraine is so short of troops that they are dragging men off the street and out of prison and preparing to draft 18 year olds.
Won’t mention that Russia’s economy is doing better than most of Europe.
Claims that Russia isn’t innovative with drones but their wire fed drones are wreaking havoc on Ukrainian troops.
He also ignores the fact that Russia just took Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and will likely soon take Pokrosk, the major tactical supply point for the Donbas.
This war is over. No matter what trump does or tries to negotiate. Face it, NATO. You lost.

A question to Times Radio - maybe you should do a journalistic investigation - why does this analyst do a PR campaign for dictator Aliyev?
Azerbaijan was in alliance with Russia and Turkey in the war with Armenia, the then defence minister Shoygu said this in an interview to Turkish journalists: “It was a successful joint operation”. How is it not an ally of Russia then? Check the bribery cases of EU MPs (German in particular) - is this yet another example of Azeri petrodollars speaking?

While your overview of the situation in Ukraine is informative, I found that the video could benefit from more conciseness and focus. There’s a lot of repetition, with some points being restated multiple times, which could make it harder for viewers to stay engaged. The speculative nature of certain comments also weakens the overall analysis. Your insights into Ukrainian tactics and Russian vulnerabilities are valuable, but a more streamlined presentation would certainly improve the clarity and impact of your message.

I hope Ukrainians advance deep into Russia as much as possible. But unfortunately they lack the manpower. You need boots on the ground to take territory especially when the territory isn't yours. That's why I think a longterm ceasefire would be beneficial for Ukraine. Meanwhile Ukraine can regroup, rearmed, supplied, reinforced and so on.

It is not true that the Soviet army, which is currently the army of the Russian Federation, is an invincible army. The war with the Finns in 1939, the war in Afghanistan in 1979, the first Chechen war in 1994. The Russian army is of course not currently the second army in the world. And if you add up and it will continue, corruption in the army, theft of military equipment. One should consider whether the current army of the Russian Federation will win this war (???). However, I believe that after a few years of war both armies will stop and there will be positional fighting, trenches and bunkers. The fact is, the NATO army is stronger. And to what extent is the Russian Federation able to buy military equipment from another country, produce it at home. Well, I don't know (???). Because here too, time is important in this. In my opinion, the war may last 10 years, but it will be positional fighting, in trenches and bunkers. A020

Ukrainians found Republic of Nagorno Karabakh insignia and markings on the destroyed tanks. It is interesting that this gentleman dies not have this common knowledge and is building a totally false narrative here.
