I need to add this mod. I'm building a full-on city and it would be awesome to wander the streets in first-person. The city is still a work in progress, but it's already bigger than Whiterun from Skyrim and it's still growing. I want it to be big enough that visitors can get lost in there.
Next time you start a new guy, you can get the fine wood early by cutting down a tree, and then rolling it into a birch or oak. Depending on how you get the physics to work, it can be quick, or it can take a while. Location obviously matters too. Once you break down a birch, you can then push it into rocks and other trees to break it up. Or push it down a hill into something or cut down another tree and try to make it fall on the birch. It can be tedious, but even getting just a bit of fine wood early can really help for a few things. I always keep an eye out for an opportunity to get an easy break on new games.
Should I be embarrassed that I didn’t even think that this was probably the general goal of this mod? I saw it, and I was like, “oh, that would make it much easier to build at certain times to get more leverage on camera angles”, and that’s what I’ve been using it for for the last month
The Black Forest....I remember when I first encountered the trolls - they scared the crap out of me lmfao. I was merrily mining, taking in the ambience and suddenly heard a loud thud, turned around and there was a troll rapidly approaching me lol.
I didn't know you play Valheim! Great! Looking forward to more videos 🙂. And... I'm not 100% sure, but I believe greydwarfs are affraid of fire, so that's why they were running away from you more than usuall. So next time when you want to catch up to them, try putting the torch away. Cheers
@@TheProtectorate-yq7vi I played it on the Meta Quest 2 (i.e. Oculus Quest 2). My friend and I used the VHVR mod from Nexus Mods that adds in native VR support using Unity and SteamVR with OpenVR. It is a bit fiddly to install but there is a step-by step guide and it worked fine for us. If you are interested; there are some TH-cam videos that provide a little insight on how the Valheim VR exoerience is as well.
2 mods, 'max axe' and 'give em the boot'. the ability to throw any weapon and turn frostnir into thors hammer lol and puttin the unarmed kick on a hot key usable with any weapon equiped, soooo handy when archer and baddies get too close.
hey metabolism, have you tried out bellwright yet? Medieval peasantcore sim. Imagine mount and blade without horses, and survival game style building where you lead your peasant army to take one village, camp, or fort at a time. Throw on a 2x harvest mod to reduce the grind and its honestly my favorite survival game ever. Im not gonna say its historical, but its better than most fantasy, even got messers and falchions and some other more obscure historical weapons. Also coop. I know they sponsored shad once which was pretty cool, you guys could do a playthrough.
They updated the mod? Or is this a new mod that's for first person, back two or three years ago I used to use it but they didn't update with the game so it quickly failed to work
Unless you can't play or watch any games in first person. You do you. Play the game you want. Love valheim, but to me this mod just makes a game unaccessible. Azumatt makes top tier mods though.
I used the app Thunderstore mod manager and the name of the mod is FirstPersonMode v1.3.8 by Azumatt
Thank you for letting us know
You and Shad should do a series of this. I would watch the sht out of that 🙌
+1
Meta ! You should announce when you’re streaming on twitch each day on your main channel! Been trying to catch one !

Yeah, especially to get the finewood bow. the crude bow is just a pain :-D
Love this game! Glad to see you enjoying it too.

3:10 so relaxing until you’re in the swamp, or being hunted.
Quando fai lo stream? Vorrei non perdermeli pls

Makes me wonder if he knows about the mod that let's you swing where you are aiming rather than on the x axis
Wasn't it a little buggy? Sometimes you couldn't hit stuf you otherwise should be able to hit.
Recently started up Valheim again. I'll have to try this mod.

Happy to see you enjoying Valheim! It is great fun to play in VR as well
How do you play it in VR?

I remember you talking about a roman castro in the plains. Would love to see that!
Haven't played this game in 3 years and it's looking a lot different.

OK, I already liked Metatron, but then I find out he plays Valheim too!!!!!
Che coincidenza, da poco ho ripreso a giocarci! Uno dei migliori survival... dovremmo giocare in multiplayer qualche volta!
Oh man I might have to get back into the game just because of that!
love this game. I have a server at home always looking for more players. We need a really good builder.
I could come around for a visit maybe (if you'd like me to) :-)
(don't think I'm a great builder, but building is the thing I like most about Valheim)
This is how I play in crypts and on the longship. This is the only way to play.
I also added the first person mod. It really adds to the game!

Does it work in multiplayer?
Yes, tested and it works.
@@TheProtectorate-yq7vi Thanks!
ok....i can finally play this game, if it had magic......would be 11/10 but with first person already turn into a playable game
It has magic but it requires access to and crafting items from the Mistlands, which is later in the game.
And even more magic in the Ashlands 😊
No for me
