buddy,your young stoopid. do not,, buy anything with ifs, or a 4 cyl diesel. that,will limit your choice to a decent, real , 4x4, not a pretend ute.. only 2 to consider are the 4.2tdi gu, or the 80 series, 4.2tdi toyota. forester,isnt that subaru trying to be something its not.. torque & gears,low gears, are what you need 4x4ing,, not 400hp..

Hey Sam loving the build, From VIC got a 2014 hilux ive been doing up over the last year, bought it bone stock and with a few mates turned it into a different car, but got bored of it and wanted something more capable so got myself a 1992 Ford Maverick for the tough stuff, bought it with the fruit this time but no plates so been tinkering away for months getting it road worthied so hopefully on the road soon so I can finally enjoy it. A new set of rims would really finish off the build nicely cheers.

Makes about as much power as a lawnmower and runs like a kettle but hey it's good offroad. She'd look extra good with a fresh set of beadlocks too...

NSW, currently got a 1999 Hilux in the shed, Version# 258 you know the feels, actually got the thing to temperature after a rewire of the loom and a upgrade to a elite 1500. Now just all the the little thing that are the worst to finish.

Samy I’m at Albury nsw we love taking out the camp trailer towed by the 09 duel cab hilux but gee wiz it gets hot in the camper that aircon would be spot on 🥶 . Hilux is setup to be a tourer canopy , bars etc

Hi Sam. I drive a 2008 VW Touareg here in NSW. Yes it has centre diff lock and low range. But independent suspension all around. Not too dissimilar to a Pajero in basic layout. Would love a new set of wheels as I set it up to be more off road worthy. Thanks, Luke.

Hey sam stoked on the build. I’m from the scorching west oz and I drive an 80 series and commonly the air cons arent too great so it keeps me cooking with all the windows down haha. Cheers

Hi Sam. I drive a 2008 VW Touareg here in NSW. Yes it has centre diff lock and low range. But independent suspension all around. Not too dissimilar to a Pajero in basic layout.
Would love a new set of wheels as I set it up to be more off road worthy.

Loving the new duramax build got the best of both worlds with the V8 noise and the whistle and soot of the diesel 🤙 I live in NSW and am looking to buy a GU patrol asap and would love a set of rims to make it stand out! Cheers 🤙

i live just out of toowoomba and im currently in the process of doing up an old 2002 hilux and kinda want to get rid of the stock rims. Patrol sounds mint by the way

Love the duramaxed patrol mate, ive gone to the dark side now, y62 patrol, exhaust, lift, 35s all the usual mods... car see's plenty of beach work over here in perth! Already got the wheels but my god do we need a bloody aircon!

We are over in W.A and drive a GQ patrol which I converted to a turbo td42 and fitted a 4" lift and 35s on steel rims and I think a set of bead locks would set it off as its has a black over grey paint job
