Oregon Coast Crabbing | Catching Big Dungeness Crab in Newport, Oregon | Great Offseason Catch

We rented a boat out of Sawyer's Landing in Newport, Oregon in April of 2021 and caught some big, offseason Dungeness Crab (and some Red Rock Crab). April isn't known to be a productive month for crabbing, yet we managed to do very well.

This is in Newport, Oregon. We went out of "Sawyer's Landing" which is on the Yaquina River and flows into Yaquina Bay. We have had excellent luck from Sawyer's Landing all the way up to the historic bay front and the NOAA boats, closer to the crabbing Pier. Stay tuned for more crabbing videos at different locations.
