When Roger reflects on the final few years of his career, of course he will remember AO 2017 final, IW/Miami sunshine double, 2018 Aussie, etc ... but I think he will most fondly remember this double header day in Rome, including this epic, three set war, in this really intimate court. The fans, packed house, is the stuff players take with them forever. It must have been roaring inside this house, particularly during that third set!
Man... You can just feel how people miss seeing Roger play on clay and how he is loved by tennis fans. The crowd is electric! Thanks for sharing this awesome video.

For a tennis fan or a sports fan, watching FEDERER in person is a magical expierence. He is tennis! Probably the most loved sportsman of the last 50 years.
You get a much better idea of the speed of the game from this camera position.
It's more real. Tv makes them look unplayable but this view makes them look human

Better than the atp highlights
Thank you for posting this. I like this view MUCH better than the "normal" view. Why don't tournaments ALL show us this level view?
Seeing the spin, power, and speed of the various shots, along with the movement of the players, is fascinating. Much clearer than the high level views.

what a great place to watch a match. all the seats are packed in close to the court, no wasted space with luxury boxes, private boxes, etc. i suspect Rome is the best venue for spectators during the European clay court season, though the Roland Garros "bullring" court is probably great too. wish i could get over there one of these years.
Madrid is the worst thanks to mr.Ion Tiriac and that ugly Caja Magica stadium.

Dude I went to Cincinnati for the masters 1000 and dude I swear you can hear the fuzz on the ball whizzing from how much topspin these guys put on the ball. Especially hard courts when the balls get super fluffy.

Very nice, i really enjoyed it. But at from 8:47 to 9:41 it seems to be a different camera, maybe a smartphone. Im really interested what equipment you used. Maybe just the lightning conditions changed.

it's true than the whole stadium supported Roger ... but Rome is not an exception ... it's like this everywhere ... Even in Roland Garros in a match between Tsonga and Federer the crowd will support Federer ...
