This is the one where the penny dropped for me. I can't express how grateful I am to Michael. I suppose I will show my gratitude by living my life at peace.

Thanks for this video ... I actually have been wondering what he really means when he says "preference" and this cleared it up. Personally I think the world "expectation" would be a bit more clear than preference. We all have to make choices and it's okay to have a preference! Before this video I kept thinking... does he not have preferences at all? How does he order off a menu?! Ha! But now I see what he means.

Dang it , and here I was enjoying the adventures my mind's preferences create, but now I have to train my mind to have the preference of having no preferences. EXAMPLE: My mind says, "I want pizza tonight." I say, "Well...if it shows up, we'll have pizza. If it doesn't, we won't." My mind says, "Make the call; have it delivered, and then it will appear in front of us, and we'll have pizza." I say, "Look, I am a little busy here having no preferences...do you mind?" My mind yells, "PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA!" I say, "I'll tell you what...if you can get pizza to show up in front of us without my help, more power to you."
THE REALITY (for me) IS: I totally enjoy my mind's antics (ACTUALLY, I totally enjoy my avatar's mind's antics. It's like have a friend, a sometimes looney friend, and sometimes a friend that saves me, because IT wants to live, to survive.
HERE IS MY SHORT CUT to enjoying all that is life with never a worry or concern about ANYTHING: I have trained my mind to RECEIVE ALL THINGS WITH THANKFULNESS. How did I train it? I told it to say "Thank YOU, FOR THIS EXPERIENCE," during and after EVERY experience we have. IT HAS WORKED FOR ME FOR OVER 76 years. "Bon Appetite."

I hear you. It's like how Christ said to forgive 70x7. If you've forgiven that many times on the back end eventually you'll realize that nothing externally can affect me so I'm inviolate to these so called assaults and depreciations therefore there's nothing to forgive anymore. You can't do diddly to me unless I allow you to. I gave up my desperacy and I'm still here. Nothing to save.

Yes that is what is being said in the video. Whatever happens to say "good", and "thank you for this experience".

Haha funny way of putting it. Words are clumsy. Applying what he says to pizza would sound like this, "I want pizza, but I don't mind if I don't end up getting one." Maybe you don't have money, or they are closed, or the driver can't find your home, etc. In other words, I have no preference for the OUTCOME of my preferences, so I won't obsess over them. You are saying the same thing when you say that you are thankful for every experience.

Is it weird that I don't think that much . I would go crazy if my mind was thinking that much. Just be without all that noise. I have Kodak moments everyday. Especially the more present and relaxed I feel. Anytime we feel whole that's a Kodak moment

Hello, do you have a talk about agoraphobia ? Although this talk is explaining a lot (fear of snake wow leading to anxiety) How can a person say : " I enjoy staying inside, it's a "great experience " 🙈 Thanks a lot for your videos 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Let go of having a preference for anything you like and an avoidance of things you don’t like.
Don’t create hiding places in your head, that you use to run away from your heart
      God speed in your journey

Back to his basic theory. Get ok inside yourself, be ok with you and going anywhere will be ok. This poster is not MICHAEL himself. They get his lectures and reposted it for us.

You're welcome! I don't think I've ever heard Mickey talk about agoraphobia. But I don't think an agoraphobic stays inside because they enjoy it. I think they're avoiding the anxiety of going out and possibly having a panic attack.

Anne keep listening daily and I think you’ll figure out how to apply this stuff to agoraphobia. Also, if you don’t have a therapist I would recommend it.

13:30 A) Example of the boy suffering with the vaccine shot with short split second pain.
    B) Pain is a worthy experience, it actually happened. It is a real experience your body is sending to you.
    C) Suffering is not real, it is what you create with your mind. It is what you do to yourself because you set up a preference.

Ur KIDDING RIGHT, the kid anguished about the BOOSTER SHOTS because his body and soul were telling him it's fucking WRONG !! no kid should be stressed for that long about something, he needs to say NO! and he would have instantly felted releaved and proud of himself for listening to his soul when it was telling him something is %200 wrong here ! And it stays in the body and does huge amount of damage !!

Even if I am wrong in my belief, the kid should really listen to his own instincts and what his body is telling him , about anything !

Also, apparently, don't have dreams because they might not come true. Just settle for whatever comes your way and don't ever ask for more. Accept your meager, mediocre or pathetic existence and don't strive for anything else.

Why should you prefer to enjoy the present moment? Why plan anything, including food? Why not eat whatever you find on the ground? Why not choose sadness and discontent with the present moment while simultaneously doing nothing? Why prefer happiness? Don't enjoy the present or past or future. Just lay down in the street and either enjoy it or not? Don't prefer sleeping under a roof. Don't prefer eating actual food. Eat grass garbage and excrement. And don't care whether that ever changes.

This could be a way of getting toward a Nirvana state. Reminds me of the part of the Groundhog Day movie when Bill Murray's character gives up and eats and drinks to excess. But eventually this give way to the character coming to a new state.

When you reach a point in life when youve tried and hankered after things you realise with the help of teachings like this what the real deal is.. once I let go of the craving or need, the space opens up to awarely enjoy whatever arises..such freedom. Thank you michael. Bless you.
