Clear, concise instructions. Safe and simple options (for someone who doesn't like to mess with electrical stuff🙂). Thank you!
The only video I could found that really shows how to fix a loose outlet box. Thank you
This is one of the greatest TH-cam Simple how to videos! Thanks!
watched at least 10 tutorials. this was by far the best. comprehensive yet easy to understand
Wanted to say Mahalo for having this video still available for viewing. Your video made it possible for us to run a 25' line from the sink to the refrigerator. And yes, Amazon was the place I purchased the line and clips. I ended up using your link for the water line, but I had issues, but I was able to purchase it. Mahalo again for the help, even years later. 👍 👍
This was a fantastic video. One of the best how-to’s I’ve seen on TH-cam.
I had no idea any of these things existed, but how incredibly helpful to learn about the different causes and solutions; thank you so much! I'm a "Why?" person, so your explanations are SUPER helpful! 🤩
Ron. Great video! I loved your complete and matter of fact presentation...I especially liked the fact that you avoided any awful introductory jingle and overwhelming background music and you JUST GOT ON WITH THE JOB! Well done.
Agree 💯!!
Thank you so much for this video. I love that you don't add so much fluff. You give clear instructions and what each item is.
When my son was 4 years old he decided to do some welding by dangling our keys in the gap between a loose plug and the wall. Man it was a solid weld between the keys to the plug and a loud pop. Made me seriously question my parental supervision even though i was next to him on the couch. Thank God for God.
Great video, I was aware of the folding spacers but the others you mentioned are great alternatives to know about!
Ron, outstanding video on how to fix these electrical situations. Really appreciate how concise and informative you made this video. I was not aware of the various extensions you could buy for the electrical box. Thanks so much.
Where have you been all my life?! Great video. Thanks so much!
Thanks Mr Hazelton. I can’t wait to try this. The loose outlets are so annoying-admit I bent prongs-but now I know better. Whew!!!
Best video ever. Concise, to the point and easy to understand. Thank you!
I am a single mom and I can't afford electricians so I try to learn as much as I can to do myself (safely of course). This video was so informative and easy to understand and I'm so thankful you actually provided footage of each scenario. I'm saving this and will be implementing it!!! Thank you so much!!
Now that’s a great video ! Thank you for the extra issues and solutions. 🇧🇷
The wall plate spacer worked like a charm- thanks!
Looking at buying my first house and these videos are great! Thanks Ron!
This was exactly what I was looking for!!! Most helpful video on the internet. Thank you so much!
Thank you , your covered all the possible scenarios. Loved the video
Not the video I was looking for but still nice to watch. Thanks.
Currently, there are outlets in my home that won't hold a plug anymore. I believe the "receptacles" that hold the plugs are worn out. Seems like I'll have to replace the plugs entirely.
Thank you Ron, as usual you helped me fix my problem and save a bunch of money!
Thanks so much for this video. They just redid a bunch of electrical sockets at my moms house, however, they are all loose as hell. I have to go back and fix them. I appreciate the time you took to give us this information. Have a nice day, and happy holidays.
Very helpful. Thanks Ron!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank you
OOh that spacer looks like what i need! Thanks!
Saved me probably a $500 electrician bill. Top and bottom were just loose. Many thanks

Thanks Ron 👍😁
Thanks for the video...it helped me out a lot around the house!
Very helpful. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the video! What causes all my outlets to come lose is that it’s becoming so difficult to plug and remove appliances. What’s a good way to make this smoother? Can I use WD40?
Asome thanks for tips 👍🏼
Amazing. Thank you, Ron!
Still going strong 👊🏻 great video too.
Pretty neat spacers!
Thanks great tips.
You are the man!! Thank you.
Thank you sir! This is such a huge help :D
Is it bad to use metal washer or metal nuts instead of plastic spacers?
Thank you Ron!
Thank you!
Excellent!!!
great tips.
I'm learning everyday
the wall plate spacer.... can it be used all 3 problems?
This was great.
you're a life saver
Thanks I appreciate it.
Wil any of the methods work for a loose tooth?
No but after the tooth is out it might. 🥴
You get the spacer when you buy mirror plates. I think they should be with all plug in parts. Just in case.
Thanks so much !!!
Thank you sir
Super-clear video! But for some reason, the wall plate spacer did not fix the "loose box in the wall" problem for me. I installed the wall plate spacer as shown, reassembled everything, and plugged something into the upper outlet. When I pull on the plug, the outlet still moves just as much as without the wall plate spacer (particularly the top half of the outlet). Any further ideas? Thank you!
Because the box or whatever the screws are mounted to is loose. Not the outlet plug part (the white part that you plug into), but the actual whole box/mounting area.
Cause this is not the actual issue. Old dude is an idiot lol
I’ve tried all three types of spacers, but the screws simply will not stay in place, I can pull them without any need to unscrew/the slide right out. Do I buy thicker screws? I h
Awesome video
Nice video
