I snagged mine Saturday. I got the mosaic black LT and the one I lucked out on has every upgrade offered in these Trax. I have the sunroof package, the full electronics package wireless apple/Android car play, adaptive cruise control, drivers confidence package, keyless remote start, LT Convenience Package. The seats are the Evotec leatherette/cloth combo. It has heated seats, mirrors and wheel, wireless charging pad, the works and it's fun as hell to drive. Got mine for $26,000 out the door with gap insurance and extended warranty. I happened to be at the dealership as they were unloading it and knew I found a steal as I hadn't seen another LT fully loaded like this anywhere and this one had more upgrades than any of the RS trims I had looked at. I prefer the blue accents inside the LT as there are just a few on the dash and not allover the seats like the RS and the blue accents blend with the screen displays. The red or yellow in the other trim models continues it onto the seats which I didn't like at all. The only change I'm making are the gold bowties to black ones. If you can find one like mine there's no way I'd go with a higher trim because really all that changes are the inches of the wheels, a power seat and seat material, and gloss grill. Im obsessed with mine! She's a sexy little thing for this mama to drive around town. 2 of my 3 kids are out of the house now so I got to downsize from my big SUV and this was the perfect little crossover to do it in. I don't need a luxury car I've always been a Chevy girl but I feel like I'm not sacrificing much honestly. The tech in the car is so incredible at this price point, it was a no-brainer and I love it!! My only dislikes was no air vent in the back and I'd love an arm rest with no cup holders in the backseat. Obviously I'd trash the gold bowties and have mine completely blacked out but that's it. Just can't praise this car enough. It's pretty cool because mine is the only one Ive seen on the road here in DFW in Texas so far.
By far the BEST review I've seen for this vehicle. Finally, someone that has done his research and knows the product he's testing. Fair and accurate assessment and no fluff... new subscriber here...great job!
Thank you for the sub! Means a lot to hear that! Careers are a little busy right now but I try posting content as much as I can! Depending on what I have access to weekly. Continued support is always appreciated!
This was the first honest review I have seen. He was very upfront on his comments. I just subscribed. I did buy this exact model. My wife loves it, especially the very nice ride and the handling. Great review.
Nice job here. My brother had one of the older ones which I've driven, I gotta go check one of these out to compare now. Does that 1.2L sound like you're grinding rags up there under the hood when you really floor it?😉
I own a 21 Spark which I like and I'm interested in "upgrading" to this. I like it but time will tell if the inadequately sized engine with a turbo slapped onto it to compensate will be a good idea or a troublesome money pit.
If it makes you feel better, I currently have a 2021 Trailblazer which is bigger than the Trax. It has the same engine. I currently have 67,000 miles on it with zero issues! It's quite the powerplant!
@Andrew R they both have their own advantages. The new Trax has a 2.4 inch longer wheelbase and 5.1 inches longer overall. It is also 0.6 inches wider. However the Trailblazer is 4 inches taller. The Trailblazer has 0.7 inches more rear legroom than the Trax but the Trailblazer also has 1 inch less front leg room. The Trailblazer has 0.3 cubic feet less cargo space behind the 2nd row but 0.3 cubic feet more cargo space total. So depends on if you'd rather have more headroom, rear legroom and total cargo space, for the Trailblazer. Or if you'd rather have more front leg room and more cargo space behind the rear seats, for the Trax. Hope that helps!
Classifying this as a subcompact is quite funny. Compared to other subcompacts this thing is huge. Since I bought my 2RS 3 weeks ago I have had 3 people ask if it was a Blazer.
I wish my dealer had one available on the lot. I'd like to see for myself if there's any merit to the claims about the dash and infotainment system shutting off randomly or a noisy shifter vibration. This is definitely on my list though and with the Envista, Ford Escape, and maybe the RAV4
I've been able to drive a few and haven't seen any issues with the screen in the Trax. I heard a couple people saying it does it in the Silverados but apparently GM is working on a fix for that. Software update possibly
I will say that's something the Trax and Trailblazer did kinda lack. The cabin is not the quietest. It's not crazy loud but it could certainly benefit from some additional soundproofing!
Depends on the vehicle. Every week, manufacturers come out with "constraints", which means there are certain options that are not being produced due to mitigating circumstances. It changed every week. So if there was an option you ordered that was under constraint, then yes it could be mildly or severely delayed, depending on how long it takes to source the parts. Another thing is transports. There are never enough truck drivers. So even if your vehicle has no production constraints, getting a trucker to bring it to the dealership is a whole other animal. Lots of moving parts in the machine to get vehicle from factories to dealerships. It's not quite the mess it used to be, but definitely not back to normal!
The dealership I do my videos for has a Crimson 2RS on order that's in the middle of being built at the moment! If theirs comes in sooner, you can buy that one! Hahahaha
I.ordered one from power swain in Fayetteville NC. Over a.Month ago. Even with a down payment I am still waiting. A recent phone call revealed my car is still on the assembly line. Am I about to get the shaft or what? (Just Saying)😢
From my understanding, building the vehicles aren't the issue lately, it's the fact that they're not getting as many carrier trucks to bring vehicles to dealerships. The manufacturer normally supplies the carriers, but lately the dealership I do business with has been hiring their own carriers to get their vehicle brought there because it's much faster
I have a trailblazer with the same family of engine and ivd had mine for 2 years and have 70k miles on it. Not one issue! Best engine GM has put out in awhile!
I'm only 5'8 and I have a ton of room but I've seen taller people fit into these just fine. Even with the seat all the way back, the people behind you will still have plenty of space!
Sometimes I hear both haha. Sometimes people say there's too much talking, not enough driving. Some people also say too much driving not enough talking hahaha

Nice ride! I like that you allow us to just hear the natural noise from the car at times😊
I just bought my 2024 Trax 1 RS today.. sterling metallic grey..I love it!!

Excellent review, very detailed without overkill. Keep up the great work👍🏻👍🏻
Just traded my 2920 Trax LT for the 2024 Trax LT THIS WEEK. I LOVE IT.
I have a Chevy Cruze with 175k on it and it still going.
Great camera work and audio Bravo!
nice. Thanks for the review of this (regular) car; after all, this is what people really buy

It's a totally different car! Highly recommend it! Best car they've come out with recently
Great review!
Thanks!

@@DailyDrivers Interesting, thanks.
Hi, I thought the 2024 Chevy Trax was bigger then the TrailBlazer?

I got a push button LT 2024
I wish the 1rs had the push button
I still haven’t seen or been able to drive one but I am anxious to do so.
They are absolutely phenomenal. You'll love it!
What were your RPMs at 70mph?

Take the American brands off your list if u actually want something reliable
There appeared to be a lot of wind noise. How bad was it in car?
I will say that's something the Trax and Trailblazer did kinda lack. The cabin is not the quietest. It's not crazy loud but it could certainly benefit from some additional soundproofing!
I have ordered a 2RS crimson red with sun roof but it’s been about 2 months ? Is there a delay in getting vehicles ?

@@DailyDrivers that’s exactly what my dealer told me two months ago . It’s on the assembly line but it hasn’t moved a inch

its an issue here where i live in Maine. most dealerships get 2 every 2-3 weeks. they don't last long. I am planning to buy one!
Which camera do you use
I currently use a GoPro Hero 8 Black! Want to get the 11 at some point!
@@DailyDrivers its 4k 60fps recording?
OMG MY MIM GOT THIS CAR BUT ITS A WHITE ONE!! Im the first to get!!!
But on this one I like the red tram
Just purchased the 24 LS sight unseen and pick it up Tuesday. I just got 500k miles out of my 2003 Camry. How do you feel about this engine?
I have a trailblazer with the same family of engine and ivd had mine for 2 years and have 70k miles on it. Not one issue! Best engine GM has put out in awhile!
😂😂 you seriously asking that right now , u just got a chevy , expect problems before 100k fool
How tall are you? Does someone 6'3" have headroom?
I'm only 5'8 and I have a ton of room but I've seen taller people fit into these just fine. Even with the seat all the way back, the people behind you will still have plenty of space!
How about leg room? Especially the width. I’m well over 6 foot and I don’t like the driver cabin too narrow
It sounds like v6
Well technically it's half of a V6 hahaha. Yes it has a nice growl to it!
3cly tubvo go boom.
Reliability ratings for these are actually incredible!
How much you pay man break it down?
TOO LONG OF A VIDEO......RIDE WIZE.
Sometimes I hear both haha. Sometimes people say there's too much talking, not enough driving. Some people also say too much driving not enough talking hahaha
