I've probably watched the Ben Cossey short 25 times, it's such an inspiring route. Hopefully they can work out a system like they have at Hueco Tanks with reservations, guides and restricted areas, that way everyone gets to respectfully enjoy the resource!
I had no doubt that this was going to be an incredibly epic film. So much psyche, and so much sadness for the loss of a beautiful climbing area.. hopefully not forever. Well done guys.
Holy shit this is a great short film! So captivating with everything from the story, shots, and audio, just wow! I absolutely love your work and this channel
Great film. It would be great to see one with more info on the issues surrounding access in Victoria. Is it really a climbers vs traditional owners thing? Are there other factors at play? What do the aboriginal owners of the land think of climbers? Is there any resolution in sight?
from 2:50 to 2:58 ish, is it better to have the rope over his left lap rather than between his legs? the angles hard to judge, but just asking for opinion and advice, as Ive had one bad fall on similar section before where the rope caught me up... thanks folks
Climbers, indigenous, environmentalists, and parks - these should be natural allies, and punching at their weight at the right targets, not at each other...a changeable but sad situation.
Moves for big or small guys? How about for women? Can we put some more respect in Paige Classen's name. Crazy impressive ascent. But, yes, props to Jack and all who try this route. So mega. So exposed. King line from Mr. Sharma!
Beautifully filmed. So devastating what is going on with climbing access in Victoria.
Thanks Giles..yes, difficult times for climbing for sure.
I was so engaged watching this it resonated throughout my whole body, it was TaNtRiC!
Nice one Axel!! Good to hear!

Awesome. Even a bit of wood.

I'm a noob but isn't 3:13 a backclip?
Damn... didn't expect that! =(

Hey Jack, thanks for the comment. We would love to do a short film that focuses on these issues..hopefully one day we get the chance.
Did he back clip at like 3:20?
The end of this video gave me chills. Let's hope you get an opportunity to get back on it.
Hope so too!
Thanks Nick.
If only his companions could have shouted "come on" a little bit louder, he may have sent the route.

Over his lap. Compare 2:31 - 2:58 with 5:55 - 6:11
4 to 6 meters between the bolts, massive runouts...Ben at 3:08 ok then let me backclip this draw safty first :)
I heard it’s open again?
bestial el nivel de la peña

omg how devastating its closed now fuck
Is this wall still closed?
Yep..it sure is.
Subd!
Min 2:36, a helmet would have made me think this was a very nice video.
How can we stop the access insanity?
INFLATIONNISTE GROOVE TRAIN CLASSIC.
Dude looks like he could be related to Pete Whittaker
Moves for big or small guys? How about for women? Can we put some more respect in Paige Classen's name. Crazy impressive ascent. But, yes, props to Jack and all who try this route. So mega. So exposed. King line from Mr. Sharma!
Sharma didn't do the FA, it was Aussie climber Ben Cossey.
@@seanmaguire9950 shit, my bad! That petzl video of sharma is just stuck in my head.
amazing film! great channel altogether. ... dont even wannna talk about these ”cultural” issues... hope things will turn to normality one day
