Love your honest review and in Australia the Marlin+ 8 is $5,400 and still a good price but I'm looking at the Marlin+ 6 at $4,300

In Brazil we have some Brazilian brands, Oggi, Sense, Caloi, Groove, they sell a few affordable ebikes, with reasonable prices. At least, the prices are 30% or 40% lower than Trek. Just for hard tails, full suspension ebike are expensive.

XS and S come with 27.5 wheels. Canadian website says it only assists to 25 km/h. So if you're doing commuting and gravel rides with it. You're not getting a 32 km\h assist ebike.
