Hey doc I don't know this isn't King of the Hill it's a House episode I'd like you to see I don't know the actual name of it but house here's a man of full paralysis by injecting him with cortisone because he found a tumor next to his pituitary gland or something and it magically fixes him
If you are a doctor do you have any advice? I'm having trouble urinary. I went to the doctor to get it checked. 2 different urine tests, 6 different blood tests, and an ultrasound, and the results were all positive, I don't have anything but I still can't empty my bladder
4:18 Bobby had went to the YMCA to learn boxing to defend himself but the class was full and so he went to take women's defensive classes and learned to defend himself by kicking people in their "balls". Also the reason Hank went totally blind was because he had saw something that traumatized him into going blind.

Doctors don't always know best when it comes to rehab... My mom had a knee replacement done awhile back and the doctor broke part of the leg bone while hammering in the new knee joint (yes, literally hammering it in), and he was fully aware the bone had broken because he noticed it the day after surgery on the x-ray (and it wasn't just a tiny bone crack or anything, it was a major break). He said it would heal fine without going back in, and mom got sent home a few days later. Then, less than a week after the surgery he started pushing her to put FULL weight on that leg during rehab. Long story short, she followed his instructions, and the leg NEVER healed. She had to live for almost a decade not being able to put any weight on that leg because it kept re-breaking at that same spot and because the implant kept moving every time it happened. She almost had to get her leg amputated above the knee it got so bad, because no doctor wanted to work on the leg after that. Eventually she got the bad implant removed and had the knee fused with a solid rod because they couldn't implant another knee because the bones were so badly damaged. So now she can't bend her leg, but at least she still has the leg and can stand up again and walk with a walker.

yup, 33 staples in my right knee after a full knee replacement. Removal was a breeze, except for a few that the tissue began healing tight around. Love the work you do.
This is a trick I learned that actually kinda work, for me at least. when you get hit or kicked in the balls, jump into the air a couple of times. That way it doesn't hurt that much.
When I was 16 or 17 or somewhere around there, I went completely blind for absolutely no reason. I was reaching up to get a bowl so I could get myself some cereal and everything just went dark out of nowhere. I tried blinking as hard as I could. I tried rubbing my eyes for as long as I could. Nothing. I was so scared. I just found a couch and sat on it. I thought that was it, but I think about a minute later my sight came back. I don't know how it happened, I don't know why it happened, but to this day I sometimes remember what it was like and I'm scared it will happen again out of nowhere
Just a couple of possibilities, total guesses; it could have been a form of visual migraine. Migraines can do some wacky stuff, and don't always present with pain. You can also go decades without getting them. In thirty years I have had exactly one migraine, which gave me *severe* tunnel vision while it was happening. Or perhaps it was a blood pressure thing. Are you or were you prone to head rushes? Those can sometimes cause temporary blindness, and aren't only from standing up. In my experience they may also occur if you crane your neck up too far too quickly. Basically anything that might briefly reduce blood to the brain can really screw with your senses.

I’ve done rehab twice. One after my brain surgery back in ‘06 and one after my spinal surgery in 2012. I’m doing great. I do walk with a cane when I’m out in public but I’m great.
I personally wear a dog tag with all my medical info on it. Blood type, allergies, full name, DOB, emergency contact and phone number, my home address, my doctors name, and a preferred hospital recommendation. My health isn't the greatest, and I tend to pass out a lot, and literally every time I try to stand, I fall. So the dog tag is something I recommend to everyone. We're also looking in to getting me a smart watch so I can be found more easily if needs be.
I recommend getting something you can use to call for help if you are alone, like Life Alert. We had a case at work where a lady had a medical alert necklace but she died alone at home where no one could help her.
Emergency contacts are real. I have pretty bad epilepsy, and if I should ever need to be contacted, because I'm going into status epilepticus, which has happened. For me, it's the closest and most beloved person I know, my baby sister. But true that a lot of us can wind up in situations where we can't make our own medical decisions. It's good to plan ahead.
I'm just now noticing it, but I saw that Dale was wearing a Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital gown. I can't confirm if that's 100% accurate, but the logo on the gown in the cartoon is definitely giving me positive confirmation. That, and it has been almost two years since my father was diagnosed with the rare neuroendocrine cancer... Something I may ask about later.
Every time i see the part where Bobby kicks Hank in the nuts, i can't help but feel bad for Hank i mean it was one thing when Bobby was doing it to defend himself from the bullies but doing it to his own father was crossing the line.

You should take a look at the injuries from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, there is some stuff that happens to the characters that should kill them, but they bounce back from it like nothing happened.
You missed the part in the rabies episode. Where Dale tries to bleed Hank out thinking he can his replace his rapid blood with Hanks. Thus curing himself of Rabies

I know that getting rabies with symptoms is fatal, so you should get the shot if you’re bitten just to be safe. But are there any negative effects to the shot of you don’t have the rabies virus? Like if I’m Dale Gribble and I get bit by a raccoon weekly and I’m getting the rabies shot weekly, does it lose potency? Or can it make you sick in and of itself?

best guess "vasospasm" blood flow is cut off the blood vessels in your retina tighten.
