    Wow! This was a great video. It answered so many questions I had on grading and I didn’t realize I could weigh certain coins for silver. I took a picture of that section of the video, do I could look back for reference. Blessings, and thanks again JBcoinsinc ❣️

    SEND IT TO BE GRADED!
    When they had a crossover “sale” in 2017 I sent something like 45 coins to PCGS to cross, be graded and one for attribution. Only one crossed, the attribution was graded ONLY, and those to be graded got graded way less than I’d hoped. Very disappointing to say the least. I have a ‘68 Washington quarter in MS-68 that didn’t cross. Look that value up that I lost! You’re right, it must be their mood, the weather or the attitude of the grader on that particular day!

    That is a gamble but not a big one. I'd flip a coin heads go for it tails forget about having it graded. Personally I like to see grading go DIGITAL. It would cost a company maybe millions and a long time to get it set up. Scanning thousands of coins but once they have it right grading coins would be consistent. Then we may not have to flip a coin or make a gamble to have our coins graded like we do now.

    In viewing the 1987 P Quarters, I questioned Where do you grade them, what grades were better than others and you answered more than I questioned and that is certainly a wonder in itself. I think with your experience, it wouldn’t hurt you to grade your coin as it just might be the one, the one that tops the grades Already accounted for and I would really wish that for you, Do it, and I don’t know the amounts it’ll cost to do so but if you’re questioning it, then you’ve already answered it... Go For it as you’ve got an entire family rooting for you! This is the second time I’ve watch this and wrote my opinions. The more I learn the more I have to add to my education by reviewing your videos again as I learn and learn and learn from you and I see that you’ve sent some in and I am now going to look at what the grading is and if you did send it, fingers crossed 🤞

  • @PWRFLROE
    @PWRFLROE 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ugh, I certainly have a headache over this and you really are in a dilemma! Potential over somebody in a bad mood that gets your coin to grade, but you are a. Informed researcher and I have faith that you will make the right decision hoping for that + or 68 grade. Watching the 70 graded Cam's going for ugh painfully low $ numbers hurts my head. I'm hoping that your discerning eye and research will give you the answer for Your coin, For me, I wouldn’t have it graded until I was much more informed and experienced in grading and researching, but I would probably wait until I was absolutely certain that Mine had a shot because face value it’s really painful at a 70 grade J. Thank you for this education as I always appreciate your warning’s and I love your videos

    I am still learning the logistics of coin grading. If you have a 97 quarter in a high grade state and you have researched that it is not selling at a profitable amount, why have that coin graded at this time? Should you wait..? I don't know what would be the best decision but I know you will make the best decision.

    I have a 1965 quarter that I think is beautiful. I have read that some 65's are a little silver. The side of this coin is different than the copper clad sides. It actually appears grayish rather than copper. The obverse is a sterling silver look, which is classier than the very shiny metal 23 quarters.i have some really beautiful dimes, that are not newer, so I put them aside because sometimes older coins are purchased for their beauty. I love dimes best, But...there are nickels that are very striking, as they look like a quality coin. The metal has a very pretty luster. I just started enjoying coins, and fancy serial numbers, but, I really need a good magnifier for coins...any hints on good ones to research? Thanks for your videos, good info.

    My question doesn't refer to the 1997 quarter . My question is regarding the 1944 wheat penny I have two one is Of good condition standard thickness of a wheat penny weight is 3.1 grams the second wheat penny same year is extremely thin with weight of 2.1g neither has a mint mark . If you can explain the difference between this and which one or both should be sent for grading. Any assistance with them would be of great help.

    If l was gonna grade a modern coin, unmarked or near perfect would be a factor. A new and glossy finish would also contribute to the Coins value. Tarnished can lower or raise the the price, like rainbow or golden color.

    Why would the non silver quarters be worth so much more ? Is that because they’re so few at top quality ? Can you sell a coin at high value without the grading ?
