    I would really appreciate a video with a complete example of creating a flight plan. This one is not what I expected after using Simbrief for a considerable time. What I need is something complementing the Simbrief which is what I understand Navigraph should do. This video helps finding your way around the software but I need something more in the line of creating a flight plan and using it with the sim.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial but one suggestion - you are soft spoken and unless one is wearing headphones or in a quiet room, the presentation is extremely difficult to follow.

    Fantastic video, really enjoyed it, yes volume up please, ??Importing a flightplan from MSFS2020 into Navigraph? Then it could be modified in Navigraph. I did not see where to do that??

      Hi. Thanks for your positive feedback. Re: importing FP. Go to 20:40 in the video, at the top you can see New Flight and Import Flight. Click on Import flight and that's it! This is assuming you have already created your FP in Simbrief. Thanks for watching! Rm😉

      @@NaviSim101 I wonder of you create the flight in msfs initially, then could you import it to simbrief and improve it before returning it to msfs2020. I find sometimes fltplns moved around end up performing differently in msfs than where I created it. Especially when I get into Approaches, so sometimes I go manual and fly by HDG only, until locking in an ILS say, but occasionally I am saying" OK Flightsim where are you taking me" and play it out.

    I enjoyed your video & looking forward to more!
    The one thing I couldn't find to do was download the flight generated in the software to the sim. I've tryed copying the route generated from the top of the screen and copy & pasting it into Simbrief to then download to the Sim from there.
    Simbrief generates a flight plan from Navigraph, but with errors. I finding that Simbrief tells me some of the route doesn't exist 🤔 Which I find strange as you would think both Navigraph and Simbrief would recognise each others routes!
    Something for Navigraph to inprove on.

    • @NaviSim101
      @NaviSim101  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Chris, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Navigraph Charts (NC) does have the ability to export a flight plan from NC itself to MSFS 2020 and other sims. I missed covering that in the video tbh. It's fairly self-explanatory anyway. Just click on "Export flight plan" in the Flight section to export it to MSFS as a .pln file then you can import it into MSFS from the Main Screen. You said you tried to copy and paste a route "into Simbrief"? I've never known this to be done as Simbrief is a flightplan generator and not designed to receive them. Both NC and Simbrief work together seamlessly if you use them correcttly. Only export plans from NC to MSFS (or other sims listed) and use Simbrief only to create or generate flightplans to NC, MSFS 2020 and/or other sim platforms. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! Best regards, Rm😉

      Hi. Simbrief is a full-featured flight planning software. Navigraph CHARTS focuses on just showing us CHARTS etc. You can map out a flight plan but it is very basic, just from A - B. That's why we need both of them. Thanks for watching!

      @@NaviSim101 Good to know you hate it also. Question, I'm using Navigraph to create ILS flight plans and can set up the initial flight plan easily enough but seem to struggle with the STARS, I get a dotted line at the end of the initial flight plan until it reaches the ILS approach where it becomes solid again which would seem to be a discontinuity. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    • @NaviSim101
      @NaviSim101  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@golfsierrahotel4806 Whenever you get that dotted line it means NC8 doesn't know what you want to do between the two points. So you need to instruct it. Have you tried it with a completley different route? Sometimes you have to right-click over the next waypoint ahead (after the end of your initial flight plan) to ;attach' it to the STAR and/or ILS to 'stich' the flight plan together. As a suggestion, you may find it helpful to watch my first video on the previous version of N Charts as it covers that issue there. I just can't remember exactly where in the video it does so. Please let me know if you get it sorted. ~Rm ;-)
