This is a "decent" method into getting far on whatever type of server you play on, whether it be pvp or pve. The strat I like to use, every time I play, is spawn in.. and run straight to mounds of the dead. The wights (blue skeletons) give you a LOAD of XP (Usually more than crafting bombs) if you had time, you could go from level 5 or 10 (depending on how many levels you gained during the trip) to max level in around 2 hours. I would reccomend using javelins because you can put enemies in a "stun lock" and they wont be able to attack you. The wights can drop steel and high grade food items as well as dye, and the cimmerians can drop cimmerian steel armor (exile epic heavy) which bonuses vitality. And if you want to build there (which I reccomend) set up 3 - 4 lesser wheel of pains and go to a small building with some t3 treasure hunters and there is a t4 taskmaster (Gothrad the Oathbreaker) that has a 100% spawn rate. And to fill your other wheel of pains, put cimmerian berserkers in there, and if your spawns are really lucky, put a dalinsia snowhunter in there. I would make a video, even if you take a look at my channel, it's not the biggest lmao, but idk. It's a good strat, everyone I play with uses it.
Edit - the random luck in this strat also effects how well it may work for some people. You can get lucky with the gold, or just follow my strat.

To all you complaining about levelling, this was nothing to do with levelling so be quiet. He didnt say this will level you up. It was all about having a killing machine at a low level

Hey Firespark, did you know that you can actually catch Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers out of the Wine Cellar Dungeon? Instead of going up into Lion country, go to the Dungeon in Sepermeru with your level 10 Fighter, kill Szeth (or whatever his name is), hopefully his Truncheon falls. Then just go into the next room where you will find 2 Relic Hunter Treasure seekers (sometimes they are Archers, sometimes both are Fighters, and often its a mix). You can knock them out and use a binding on them. When you exit the dungeon you will not see the bound Thrall dragging behind you, but I assure you it is there. Drag it to your thrall wheel (sometimes you will see your binding stretching off into the distance all buggy). But that is how you get a RHTS early on. Enjoy! :)
Yep that is actually the quickest viable way to a high tier thrall I know of.
And chests around town give you the iron to build a wheel, so you don't even need any workstations.

Oh I would never thought if this in the beginning of my gameplay, sounds like a great plan - I've been restarting my gameplays on the Exiled Lands a few times to see if I can survive out of what the map, NPCs and such give me, without building crafting stations or a base - I may want to try going east next time and see if I can buy a fighting partner! FYI about 30 seconds of feats, unlock daggers, make stone daggers, backflip while encumbered if you want to be able to avoid damage while encumbered for early cheese.
One thing to add… if you give her (or whatever thrall you get) 1 slice of cooked savory meat per level and the use gruel for healing the 1 slice per level right after they level will trigger (+14%) buff on vitality which makes her much much more likely to gain Vitality each level which gains her additional HP. Don’t waste savory meat as long as you give her 1 slice right after she levels you should be good.

Love this video. I've added 2 steps to it. I harvest and create a furnace then just past docks I harvest iron and stone to make a BS bench. Take the perk for coin mold and you can then turn gold bars into 5 coins. Thus allowed me to get a fighter and an alchemsit.

Dude this worked better then expected, it took three tries and I got the reinforced steel truncheon and the hammer of the whale from the first location and a Falcuta and long sword from the camp next to the second location, pretty damn sweet. Thanks
22:42 at this point just set your thrall to wait, don't risk your thrall teleporting up onto the very top and dying instantly to like 10+ mobs.

The time you took to get the thrall is the time I use to get to lvl 35+... Takes FOREVER! Its way better to get the archivist recipes, get lucky on the venom weapon recipes. Craft one of m and keep lvling. Lvl 60 is doable in 2-3 hours without help of other players. (That is also without decaying a base or getting a lucky dagger kill.) Scouting, solo killing and chests to loot steel bars/tools/weapons to increase your powerlvling speed. Even killing world bosses for keys with palisades are a nice way to boost your last few xp points.
Okay, but this is more so telling you in how to get op really quick in some of the safest matters....

If the thrall bugs out with the truncheon just swap it out with a different weapon and then give it the truncheon again. Works for Xbox anyways and you don't have to re log

Solo offline players, just quit your game after you grab the chests, they respawn once you load back in. Saves a shitload of time.

Not sure why everybody is hating on this video so much. I don't normally tame my first thrall until around level 20-25 after several hours of grinding. And the commentary is pretty damn funny, imo.

theres actually a better spot to get easy gear for your thrall/yourself at using this method. the npcs around the derketo trainer (pagoda of boundless lusts, n/o 5) can drop the lamerian warrior set (its epic medium). once your thrall is around 8 or 9 you can hit that place. its close enough to the apes you can go back yo farming apes to lvl the thrall more while waiting on respawns.
heck, i normally farm up a few extra sets to cycle through on myself until i can craft armor just as good/better

You can press (default) spacebar to Loot All instead of clicking when you loot those deep chests if you're worried about breath, it 's a tiny little bit faster.

this literally took me all day just to get a follower that can be used in combat
new to your channel, and I just bought conan exiles literally couple days ago this weekend, been watching your videos to get the hang of it. as for this video, I gone around to the ships, only made 2 laps and got 90 gold, (wasnt that lucky but got tons of ingots and silver pieces! (watched the other video you linked too)

You don't know that.....
If anyone open the chests with default "e", then close with "e", then the chests will respawn. If someone use "esc" to leave open the chests, they will not respawn until server restart. On some servers, there is tactic, to not close for example Sepermeru and Warmaker rusted key chests, and others. It's easy to recognise bug-ed chests, because they dont have open-close animations.
What if you loot everything and leave it open. This is my first time hearing about this bug. That really sucks.
Its not bugged. It will respawn new items whether open or closed. Just go into the inventory and the pre-visible loot will change. Or if you really want to be an a-hole you can actually destroy world chests with a regular weapon. Just keep hitting it and it will disappear.
@@Firespark81 Yes, this bug is really annoying :( Sometimes the chest's loots don't respawn until server restart. Sometimes they do. It's full random.

Lol love your style. Add your gold harvesting/thrall merc run with a easy leveling run basically what your doing but you are avoiding xp get them to lvl30 in the same amount of time and same amount of fun.

you know whats funny you can become level 10 almost instantly on a official server just by doing the basic missions in the top right corner of the screen things like make clothes kick climb eat drink like those give you a lvl instantly in the beginning of the game while doing the collect 100 coins bs

I dont know if it works in the pc version of the game but if you swing your axe straight forward in a branch this will collect as the amount of resources as you swing your axe in a tree. You dont have to aim the branch, it wont work. You have to swing facing forward. If the branch are in an aclive, the better.

I'm not exactly sure which mod it is but I've been killed at least three times by poison while in the noob land water all I know was that it was a quick death and couldn't figure out what was causing it until I saw a giant eel in the water and it could be from the river boat mod. *shrugs*

You don't need to do all that bullshit. Literally just go to the cimmerian camp with an iron war ax, build a base, and start killing thralls for cimmerian armor and steal bars. If you do that then you should be fine.
I don't get it... The collecting coins and buying of a thrall which is a great tip, i agree, except that all the collecting and waiting for chest respawns etc would take the same time as a standard level up and thrall capture past the noob river. And at the end, when you get your fighter to just drop a camp of thralls saying "yeah. make a wheel of pain whatever", LOL, where do you get iron stone and wood from ? I appreciate your videos mate, I just wish you'd get more experience playing without admin settings, you obviously have lots to give the world if you cheated a little less
THAT is literally what I was thinking. It takes less than an hour to establish a base on the north bank of the southern river and capture a named fighter at a 100% spawn point at conanexilesmap.com/#6/-3307.125/1536.250 The taming without a taskmaster can take like 24 hours (depending on the Thrall) but that can be reduced to only 30 min if you go and knock a T2 or a T3 thrall instead of a named fighter ... Also, there's a plethora of spawn points for Bearers who are absolutely OP for so many reasons
I restarted again on an official server a few weeks ago without mods or faster exp gain/gathering speed and been doing really well.
Started the base in the jungle and was able to capture a T3 bearer really early.
After that one leveled a bit (+/- level 10) I just walked all the way to mounds of the dead and captured a berserker. there is always one running around there.
I and the bearer both just had an iron cudgel to knock out the berserker; if I didn't assist/ draw agro now and than both the thrall and myself would have been dead btw :-)
The berserker always has a 2 handed star metal sword.
After that all the rest was just plain easy. The bearer thrall reached level 16 before I had maxed out encumberance and became a beast (+10k health) he lucked out with a +15 vit perk.
The captured berserker made my life easy for capturing named crafting thralls and killing about everything (world bosses = healing arrows and do avoid the poison ones)
After the berserker you can also easy check on Dalinsia and more berserker thralls (= more 2h star metal swords!)
The" journey" steps just go around explore ,build , craft and equip different things quick leveling
Hey in this you said about 'relogging' to get a thrall to use the truncheon. Do you mean completely restarting or just rejoining the server? Since I've been having that problem and its getting bloody annoying.

It's sadly one of the biggest bugs in CoE at the moment, but a fix is live on testlive servers, so it will be patched any moment now. Some times, currently, the only thing to do when thralls derp out and don't want to use the weapon you provide, is to wait for server restart. That is guaranteed to work, restarting the client only works some times.

2. You would have to have a tanner for leather,
3. You would need said leather plus a torturers bench for the bindings

Yep, he's at 34,052 xp at the one chest and shows where he's about to travel to for the next one. Cuts to the next one at 34,072 xp, and it was supposedly after many tries. For reference he gained 5 xp just climbing down to his thrall.
thank you for this video, I just started about a week ago and was able to knock out enika of ciMmeria and she's on the wheel. my question is, is she just as good as the one you bought with the gold or should I go grab that one.
Any named thrall fighter is better than t3 like the one in the vid
on a pvp server you do a similar start but prioritize alchemist since that lets you make steelfire cheaply and lets you make demonfire orbs for your first starmetal run.
Just use explosive arrows for star metal

Nah, too much work. Just run to Sepermeru straight from the desert, loot chests in the city until you have found four gas orbs. Then find a spot where Bandid Leader spawns, stand on the roof of building and gas the Leader to death and loot him/her. Bandid Leaders drop steel truncheons and steel chains (you have more than likely found a advanced blunt fitting from some chest while searching for orbs, so use that too), use those to knock out a fighter III from Sepermeru and proceed to get yourself a Treasure Seeker thrall.
Much easier and much less swimming.

it's reasonable, wonder how much time both methods take with standard rule set and in specific situations. like a fresh pvp server? tbh I expect sep to have 1-2 people/small groups farming it. or a fresh pve server? wonder whether sep would be busy then as well? single player goes without saying, but I honestly wonder which takes longer? because that's what you are basing it off of. which takes longer? the wheel is 10th level right? so it's conceivable that on a normal xp settings this method would be faster. It would just take testing really. both seem reasonable. I just like the idea of sep because once you have a truncheon you are close to treasure seekers. I guessed you could get the guys in the wine seller, I just never tried it.

WHY ! didn't you get epic lemurians armor from Temple of Derketo near the apes. they die so easy ! come on man! The mobs drop 1-2 pieces each and they have +str!

So you needed 14 minutes to get this thrall, probably even longer. By this time I am already level 20+ and in the jungle just by leveling alone. This strategy you showed here is just waste of time and relies on players not farming the gold and weapons from the chests.

just swim to east find sunken gold and buy thrall form pirate cove and take him/her for leveling
or kind of easier if you wanna do craft lot of arrows and bow to spam damage with hanuman prayer

So i started leveling normally at the start of this video and was level 39 by the time you hit 10.

Firespark we console players needs your help. Can you start a petition to fumcon to add a search bar to console? I know you only play on pc but imagine the struggle without this useful feature.

If you mean a search bar for the feats menu there is one. It's on the last page of the feats menu.
