Hi, I see CWIP of every year almost same as current assets value in ongc. It means it is doubling it's capacity every year in past 5years also? CWIP consider from 2012 ... Even after 10years it's profit is not doubled. So in this context how it is possible to expect it to double net profit in next year.

Sir CWIP decreased only in 2015 & 16 and kept on increasing since start , so how we should view it.. do the projects planned not implemented or the planned projects cost of implementation kept on rising or new projects added

One thing to note is dividend payout is calculated on Face Value not on the Stock price currently prevailing in the market..Company 10 saal se expansion mode me h, par 10 saal ka cagr 0% h. Moreover most of CWIP is from borrowing and it is almost equal to the Fixed Assets from the past 3 years. Price hike in Oil or Gas cannot be passed on to the customer in proportion with the hike in raw material so the company's profits would definitely take a hit and considering election are near, oil and gas prices are likely to fall. P.S. the LPG Gas Cylinder prices have already been reduced and too this would be followed in oil and gas. Plus a windfall tax has also been imposed on the sector, you need to factor in that as well.

@TradingWithVivek Sir, why did you only consider natural gas and not crude oil. Revenue is 70% from crude oil and 13% from natural gas. I couldn't find the profit split but even if natural gas prices increase and production doubles, how could we only base our profit estimation on natural gas? Please let me know if my logic is wrong
