1998 Australian R/C Off-Road National Titles (Bayswater) Retro R/C

1998 Australian 1/10 Electric Off-Road National Titles held in Bayswater, Perth. Video footage was taken by Jeff and Chris Primmer.
Action from the 2wd and 4wd Modified Finals as well as a Group 20 2wd final and interviews with A final drivers.
Darrin Campbell (Losi) took all 3 modified classes. In 2wd we had a close battle, I took A1 then in A2 we had a battle that went to the final corner. Darrin then won A3 for the title. In 4wd Ari Bakla and I had a close battle in A1 before Darrin took A2 and A3. I was racing a Schumacher Fireblade in 2wd and Schumacher CAT 2000EC in 4wd.
The event was held at the Bayswater track which still operates from the same facility. The track was hard packed and dusty, and Losi Sprints were the tyre most people used.
