Just wanted to say I discovered this podcast a few months ago and I've really enjoyed the consistent quality. Ty is super likable and Colby is always interesting and usually pretty funny without even meaning to be. Every time I listen I learn something and am entertained. Great job guys.

It sure feels like if the Mariners need a left-handed hitting outfield bat, they're going to force the issue with either Trammel, Marlowe, or DeLoach to go along with Canzone. They're definitely not going outside the organization to resolve.
Thanks. Maybe if after rehabbed in the minors before the trade deadline, and the season hasn’t fallen apart, might make a pitching for hitting trade less painful.
I think with the current financial situation it’s highly unlikely they’ll try to extend anybody. I wonder if they try like hell to get Robbie Ray’s contract off next year presuming he picks up his 2/50 (I would be shocked if he didn’t). It sucks that there’s so much penny pitching going on right now.
France and Clase for max Kepler. Gabe Gonzalez and maybe one or two other prospects for randy arosarana and sign ryea Hoskins to play first and if you have to go trade for Nike Gonzalez with the Pirates to play at 3rd or second
@@LockedOnMariners he definately had a decent year and he does provide excellent defense. He typically hits in the .220 - .240 range with roughly 20 hrs a year. Going into his age 31 season for 10 mill isnt appealing. With that said he would he an upgrade but I dont think we would be squeezing as much production out of our limited payroll as possible. Unless minnesota eats some of the contract, im not for it.
I also dont see why you and alot of others are so low on jonathan india. Hes 27 for around 3.5 mill for '24. This last season he hit .244 with 17 hrs and can steal some bags. His rookie year in '21 he hit .269 , 21 hrs, 69 rbi. For the money he seems to be a better value and those numbers seem pretty valid for a middle infielder. What am i missing here? Right. Getting a consistently elite defensive outfielder coming off a 124 wRC+ season with 24 homers would be bad, actually.
