I am left handed but I cannot cut with my left hand no matter what scissors ( left or right handed) and I always unlock any door with my right hand...must be a bit ambidextrous.
I write left but have always been more comfortable using RH when using scissors. As a kindergarten teacher in a disadvantaged area I purchased left handed scissors for my lefty students and let them keep them at the end of the year.

It's like they haven't met another person who's left handed at least ONE time before meeting me. It's weird I'm left-handed but in sports on right-handed or even ambidextrous for example in hockey I can use both sides sticks left or right doesn't matter I can switch hit in baseball but I cook and I cut with a kitchen knife with my right hand I'm left-handed with writing left hand of eating the human brain is extremely complicated

I don't like when people ask me if I'm left handed when I'm obviously writing with my left hand and then they act like it's magical. It's like they haven't met another person who's left handed at least ONE time before meeting me. I get meeting someone who's left handed is rare, but the only reason someone should get excited about something like that is if they have the ability to rip their arm off and grow another one, keeping the dominate hand...which sounds like a bad idea now that I think about it, but still. And I get what you're saying how some people just write with their opposite hand just to keep something from someone else or just saying that to get a good kick out of someone. Sorry about the rant. I'm not ready for school tomorrow
