Not sure if you will see this since it's an older video but you guys were the first channel I thought of when I hit the deal of a lifetime. Got Villainous for 2 dollars at a yard sale just now. Checked it out before I bought it and everything is still in shrink! I had to. Lol.
Just the other day I actually rewatched your Villainous tournament and in watching your video I discovered that there's a solo variant people made. The player count was the only thing stopping me from buying the game, since I only really play games solo, and now I'm THRILLED!!! Eventually when I finally get a chance to buy and play them all on my own, I'd be curious to compare my list to both of yours. I can already tell though, that Madame Mim will be *incredibly* high. SITS was wayyyyy before my time, but I just have such fond memories of watching the Spanish version with all my cousins at our abuela's house when we were still able to visit family in Venezuela, and I can definitely tell that's going to affect my love of her character like Jeff loves Jafar. Happy belated birthday, Jamie!!!!
OH ohOH I would also love to see a video from you guys to see which Disney/Pixar villains you would love to get their own expandalones! I think I'd be cool to see the ones you choose, especially given your different relationships and knowledge of the films :)
Cool to see your takes! I honestly prefer the more challenging Villains, so in my ranking video I've got Hades and Mother Gothel and Cruella and Ursula rather higher. For Mother Gothel specifically, I'd say her Fate deck is on the weaker side - if you play her correctly, you should be gaining Trust faster than it can be taken away from you.
Disney Villainous is definitely one of my favorite games that has come out in recent years! I agree with a lot of your placements, though my hot take is that I actually like playing Ursula. Not my absolute favorite, but I just enjoy figuring out the puzzle that is her board and play style.

I was a late 80's, early 90's kid, and my favorite Disney movies were Aladdin, Robin Hood, and The Sword in the Stone. Plus The Nightmare Before Christmas, but unfortunately Oogie Boogie is not a Villainous character yet.
That’s what I love about this game. Everyone has a different opinion and can play differently. For example Mother Gothel is my favourite, I love the constant tough of war because it is always interesting and I love having to plan ahead.
Almost unsubscribed based on the Incredibles slander but you brought it back with the Sword in the Stone love. That wizards duel blew my mind as a kid. Also loved the black cauldron as a kid. I've been rewatching Disney stuff because I have very young kids and it has ignited our nostalgia love. I'll have to play this game.

My top 3 I want to try out are Hades, Yzma and Prince John as I love their movies. Also, side note, I just watched your first tournament video along with this one and the whole time I couldn't help but notice what I suspected were Maritime accents. I only played Villainous once but didn't get into it (we played at 4p and I think I'd like it a lot better at 2p). I love how all the villains and their goals are so thematic! Jeff - are you planning on watching the Disney movies you haven't seen so you know more about the Villainous characters? Totally agree about Frollo being the most evil. And scary, because like Tremaine he also could be a real person.

I'm with you on The Incredibles. Blah. But this video made so many things clear to me! I stopped playing this game because I kept losing. I was playing Ursula. It was just so defeating as we only play 1v1 so thank you for adding how each of these play 1v1.

I have the feeling that the only thing you do while playing Lady Tremaine is discarding cards (except for Wedding bells Drizella Invitation from the king etc)

Incredibles slander!!!! But, I also love Beauty & the Beast and the Emperors New Groove quotes won me back over lol you both may be the biggest Villainous fans of BGtube and I definitely have to give it a shot soon because of that.

My GF and I just started playing this and we only have the original six but we love the game so much. We also play 1V1 because we find it the most fun. I feel having more than 2 is going to be confusing and chaotic
I've played one game of Villainous, 6 players, and I played Queen of Hearts. I can't remember for sure but I think I won. That was a few years ago and I just recently bought the base game and 3 expansions after finding out it's good at solo and 2 player. My husband and I are empty nesters and he doesn't care for games (sad times) all that much but is a good sport to play with me from time to time. For the longest time I declared Aladdin as my all time favorite Disney movie. I'm not sure anymore. Oh yeah, probably 101 Dalmations (the original). When I was declaring Aladdin it's probably because I forgot about Dalmations. Both Jeff and I need to watch The Sword In The Stone. I've seen parts of it just not the whole movie all at once in order. Just what I've seen is enough to love it.
I really enjoy these top 'X' characters videos. Evil Queen is my wife's favorite Villain. She rarely plays other characters. She mostly plays her and Maleficent as she can't wrap her head around others. We just recently got Bigger and Badder as well as Despicable Plots. I already know I'm going to like Madam Mimm and Horned King from those sets. Pete, Mother Gothel, Prince John, Captain Hook, Hades, Ratigan, and Evil Queen are my tops. My least favorite is Queen of hearts. The others I'll play but surprisingly have yet to play Dr. Facilier and Yzma. They just don't intrigue me one bit.
It’s very fun!! I think it is a bit divided on how well it plays at 2p (it’s super mean fating each other constantly), but we love it. It’s also really good at 3p - 4p can drag out a bit depending on which characters are used

I’ve bought Perfectly Wretched, will try to play Disney Villainous for the first time, and will play 1v1, I see that Mother Gothel and Cruela De Vil are ranked pretty low for You guys, so what would be the best Villains to use out of those 3 in this set for 1v1 ? Ofcourse except Pete, he was high on both of Your lists. 😅
Our usual response to this is pick the box that you enjoy the characters from the most. The game plays the same in ever box so really, just pick based on characters!
We also own all of the Disney Villainous sets and have played every character at least once. My Top Five fun to play are Pete/Hook/Queen of Hearts/Jafar/Ratigan. I really want to like Horned King but a later game single fate set me back too far into an unrecoverable situation requiring completely cycling through my deck. That just wasn’t fun.
I know I commented forever ago but I had to comment again now that I have played as everyone. Jamie and I have the same Top 3, just in a different order. Same taste in villains 😂
Love these villainous videos. I'm still missing Wicked to the Core & just bought Bigger & Badder so haven't had a chance to play it yet. My top 3 are: Ursula, Cruella & Lady Tremaine. Bottom 3: Prince John, Jafar & Mother Gothel. My sister love's Maleficent and always wins with her. So I tell her she's forbidden to play her now 😆 She also just played the Horn King and it has moved to the top of her list.
It's sad that you guys don't like Ursula. It took some time for her to grow on me but now I absolutely think she is one of the most fun to play. Once you understand the mechanics and how to play her deck, she is actually really strong. I played a 1 v 1 against my wife, Ursula vs Prince John and John got destroyed. Anyway, loved the content, really hope you guys will do a rematch :-)
I will say syndrome was alittle weird the first play through but the second time I played him I won so fast. I haven’t played Lotso but I’ve played against him twice and I feel like he’s difficult.
Was fun/interesting watching this. It is my niece's favorite game, so I've played a few times with her. She's since got Marvel Villainous and has recently been playing that. Wish there was some way to cross them over properly, would be interesting. Jaime's explanation of how to win with Ratigan at 20:30 has to be the best part of this video! 😂🤣😂

I have honestly found the most broken character for one v one is Pete he is super powerful. I love mother Gothel and Cruella but for One v One you have to pit them up against each other since they are a similar speed. My favorite character to play overall is Cruella due to her needing more strategy than other characters.
@@FostertheMeeple It's just, considering that the other villains' win conditions involve things like destroying their hated rivals or conquering the known world, the Queen's being to simply win a rigged croquet tournament is pretty underwhelming.

We also own all of the Disney Villainous sets and have played every character at least once. My Top Five fun to play are Pete/Hook/Queen of Hearts/Jafar/Ratigan.
I really want to like Horned King but a later game single fate set me back too far into an unrecoverable situation requiring completely cycling through my deck. That just wasn’t fun.

I know I commented forever ago but I had to comment again now that I have played as everyone. Jamie and I have the same Top 3, just in a different order. Same taste in villains 😂

Love these villainous videos. I'm still missing Wicked to the Core & just bought Bigger & Badder so haven't had a chance to play it yet. My top 3 are: Ursula, Cruella & Lady Tremaine. Bottom 3: Prince John, Jafar & Mother Gothel.
My sister love's Maleficent and always wins with her. So I tell her she's forbidden to play her now 😆
She also just played the Horn King and it has moved to the top of her list.

It's sad that you guys don't like Ursula. It took some time for her to grow on me but now I absolutely think she is one of the most fun to play. Once you understand the mechanics and how to play her deck, she is actually really strong. I played a 1 v 1 against my wife, Ursula vs Prince John and John got destroyed. Anyway, loved the content, really hope you guys will do a rematch :-)

I will say syndrome was alittle weird the first play through but the second time I played him I won so fast. I haven’t played Lotso but I’ve played against him twice and I feel like he’s difficult.
He definitely feels difficult at 2p especially. Very tough fate deck

Was fun/interesting watching this. It is my niece's favorite game, so I've played a few times with her. She's since got Marvel Villainous and has recently been playing that. Wish there was some way to cross them over properly, would be interesting. Jaime's explanation of how to win with Ratigan at 20:30 has to be the best part of this video! 😂🤣😂

Hey they made a new one it is Oogie Boogie I have not played with him yet but he is by himself
I have honestly found the most broken character for one v one is Pete he is super powerful. I love mother Gothel and Cruella but for One v One you have to pit them up against each other since they are a similar speed. My favorite character to play overall is Cruella due to her needing more strategy than other characters.
This is completely accurate. I think at 2p paying more attention to character balance is important.

@@FostertheMeeple It's just, considering that the other villains' win conditions involve things like destroying their hated rivals or conquering the known world, the Queen's being to simply win a rigged croquet tournament is pretty underwhelming.
