So... for anyone wondering about making this recipe, I tried it and it's really good, rich in dark chocolate, not sweet, and yummy gewy on the inside, don't have access to cake flour so did the flour cornstarch mix.

@@RIA-rm6yq ya brownies don’t require baking powder. Baking powder is for cakes. It helps them rise but it also makes them cakey and fluffy and this “Fondant Au Chocolat” is kind of like a brownie and doesn’t require baking powder.

It did make good hot chocolate but it was such a pain to cut it up, not worth it.

It’s really yummy thanks for the vid. And for anyone that’s wondering, I did mine as gluten and lactose free. I had to switch the chocolate, butter and flour however, I used the same recipe and it turned out great. It did take me twice the time in the oven though so don’t panic and think that you failed.

IT TURNED OUT AMAZING!!! You guys should definitely try this one, super easy but delicious 🤤 I only have one tip for my first try: I couldn't trust my oven so I kept almost 12 13 minutes, dont do this, turn it off at 10 min so inside would me much more creamy.

I kinda messed up with the accuracy of the measurements and the cake was extremely dry and no lava flow anywhere. What should I do🥺
@@iyanubanks100 you probably cooked too long. Make it leave the oven earlier, even my 12-13 minutes was a very little too much. Take it around 8 minutes and it will be lava 😋

They don't cost much, around $10-13 if you go for the cheap ones. I bought mine on amazon and it's been working well even though it was 12 bucks.
It saves you from the frustration and miscalculated measurements.

Practise makes perfect. I bake loads because I enjoy it. I've been doing it for about 10 years and once you get the hang of it, it's easy. You just need to follow instructions and also know what reactions are going to happen when you bake. E.g. If you bake a cake, use a taller tin as the cake will rise. The work is worth it.
