Im doing pre reqs before i apply to the nursing program. I found your vids on a wim and i love them. They make learning so fun and interesting. At this point im just watching for entertainment.
Dextrose is natural glucose (D-glucose as opposed to L-glucose which is synthetic and the molecules are arranged differently. Opposite I think?) So it’s just sugar. But unlike sucrose or fructose it’s the simplest and most readily absorbed by the body. It’s in the crash cart and in IV fluid to treat low blood sugar (aka hypoglycaemia which translates to low blood sugar. Really low blood sugar leads to insulin shock).
I just want to thank all nurses, doctors, surgeons, and every one else working in hospitals and clinics. You are really the angels of the world

Nclex test is really frustrating. I can't believe I failed again after studying so much.
