6:32 now that are some highly unfair comparisons. those numbers are with eyja s2 being activated with every attack. that's something you can at best keep up for 3 attacks. with average uptime including the sp cost of eyjas skill, her dps drops to below 2500 in the first graph or just above 1000 in the second. and you only calculated the numbers for increments of 20, right? i was very confused why eyja and logos had their bend in the dps line at 20 res instead of at 10, and the line not being horizontal before that.
Yes, I used only increments of 20 (0, 20, 40, 60, 80). I could try a higher granularity next time. And yes, I assumed that Eyja S2 RES debuff was always on. I know that it's a simplification, and that in this case it favors Eyja. Honestly, other simplifications were done in calculations in order to keep things manageable (Logos is a nightmare to compute). This is definitely harder to fix. Sorry if you found this misleading.
To be fair, factoring in Eyja's falloff with s2 is pretty tricky since it'll be different on stages depending on the density of enemy waves. I do think he could've taken note of this when showing the graph
the sad truth of splash caster. it's just too unfortunate that hg don't make classes stay true to their archetype. I actually expect every core caster to be something like single target/debuff/pure. *ceobe is amazing. eyja s2 and s3 should have been for splash caster 😢
Its super easy to figure it out 1) She has no res ignore so she will already do worse against scaling enemies 2) Her s1 is horrible damage wise and isnt good healing wise, her S3 has hilariously low damage for a 80 second cooldown skill so her main is s2 3) Her s2 has only 1.4k dps (without the faction buff because you wont bw bringing them) wich is only 300 higher than Eyja s2 (1.1k assuming no badic attacks) and gets completely beaten by Dusk 4) She has absolutely no extra utility other than this. Yeah at her BEST shes literally just a Eyja s2 sidegrade (wich beats her on avarage dps after 50 RES) and at her worst she simply sucks. She is underwhelming by definition of underwhelming. Has a cool s2 tough
When I saw how full offense her skills were on paper with absolutely no res shred anywhere I knew right there she was in big trouble and I knew I'd only pull her to cheat SP debuffs. The whole mana system is wonky and Marcille proves it, she had to dedicate both her talents to make it work, never a good sign. You say the S1 healing's no good too though? I was thinking of building that in case... Medics, Supporters AND defenders were banned or something lol
@@EggyEggtoast Medics supporters and defender bans means its CC, pure healing is worthless in CC as you want utility, Shining for defense in ccb2 NG for arts on everywhere and Eyja alter on some clears of ccb1 because of burn damage! Also banning those means you are allowing snipers guards and specialists wich at that point nobody needs an healer because of how broken they are 😭
@@EggyEggtoast Homies going a bit wild here, her healing is good, it's like 1.2k on a healers cycle, like a damage split Lumen but instead of deploying and waiting, she starts strong 0/40 seconds from stage start, and skill burns out after 20/40 ammo 60/120 seconds. Her main skill S2 stacks damage with res shred like Aya/Ifrit/Haze and her attack scales better with Eya that the GOAT herself., Eya has higher burst, but lower consistency and a much worse splash. Not to forget that's not even the main point of her second skill. I think Eya's damage is only so good against 5 because it's burst, my Eya lvl. 60 with mod. is only doing like half that. Secondly like most blast casters she's utility, with slow similar to a decal-slower and stun to boot, her wind up IS a problem, but even so she can pretty quickly outperform Aya for consistency. Smallphi confirmed the only reason Aya is doing such good damage is because it's comparing her burst to Mac's infinite. That said I agree Marc's burst is kinda trash.
Sciel did an S2 review " [Arknights] Who's the Best AFK Caster? (Marcille Skill 2 Showcase) "[Arknights] Who's the Best AFK Caster? (Marcille Skill 2 Showcase)" Where going he showed she took 14 extra seconds, in TIME ATTACKING she beat Bishop Quintus and Cowith it's [A] Res as fast as Logos, while GG just dragged even with the time advantage. This is of course having 50 res vs. Patriot who she suffered from being "only" 45. of course she dominated in CC, because that's her whole niche, 2S attack speed .5s slow and stun, with a generous AOE, Aya can't keep up because even with a healthy res shred she only does half AOE on every 4th attack.

You're looking at the "Average DPS" of Viktorlab, while I've used "Skill DPS" as metric. For reference, Viktorlab gives 2323 Skill DPS for single target, which is pretty much the same as mine.

It would be accurate for a never ending skill like Fiametta and GG since their skill dps replaces their average dps.
