You know the read aloud videos you did of The Outsiders five years ago? My 8th grade English class read along while listening to your read aloud.
For context, I used to hate reading because I've always been a slow reader and I found most books boring. But having it read to me in a voice that PERFEFTLY matched the character and emotion of the book got me very interested in a book that I would have never read on my own.
Fast forward to freshman year,
The Outsiders is still my favorite novel and I have two copies of it that I read all the time. In short, thank you for (even in a small way) handing 8th grade me the tools to enjoy the best book EVER.
