I had what I can only describe a really 'weird' moment one time when playing Skyrim. Bear with me as it's a little nuts - it was the middle of the night in the game, and I was trekking across Skyrim. I briefly paused and looked up at the sky and saw the unmistakable presence of the twin moons of Sedunda and Masser, and I was suddenly gripped with one of the most intense feeling of wonder I have literally ever felt. In that moment of wonder, I asked myself 'Is there somewhere far off in the universe a planet similar to Nirn with its twin moons? A medieval society species maybe not too dissimilar from us...someone looking up at the night sky and wondering?" Its daft I know but for a few moments the game seemed to pull me somewhere - and it also happens when I managed to get up high on a mountain in the wilderness and look at the entire landscape in the daytime. With the soft music playing, it's easy to be pulled into a feeling of wonder, perhaps even of longing. A desire to be there. I'd say it's a testament to the game designers that the environment can stir such an emotive response from someone. Yes, it sounds crazy :)

I bought "Skyrim" sometime back in 2013, but I stopped playing it back then (unbelievable, I know) and began again in the winter of 2018, which now makes 4 years of spending my time in Skyrim. One day I was too late to watch the sunset near High Hrothgar, so I waited the entire night and watched the sunrise in the courtyard. I have watched the sunrise, while standing on a rock near Fort Sungard. I have watched the sunrise high in the mountains just north of Winterhold, and just outside the gate of Whiterun (as well as the sunset). I have watched the sunset near Lund's Hut, and on the stairs near Mzulft. It was breathtaking. I was near Loreius Farm one evening, when a deer appeared out of nothing on the rim of the land to the west of the farm, with the western sky all orange-pink'ish behind the deer. It was an unforgettable moment. One day I exited the forest near Meeko's Shack, when it began to rain, and the thunder rolled over the land and the lightning flashed through the sky. It was an incredible experience. Old as the graphics may look nowadays, when it comes to in-game atmosphere, Skyrim is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. And Jeremy Soule's music fits just perfectly. Skyrim will forever be my favourite game.
This music makes me aspire to great things. Being 18 years old and nearing the end of my first year at university, I am at a crossroads it feels like. Sometimes I wanna be the best, other times I just wanna live a comfortable life, sometimes I dont care what happens. But this music makes me think about going on adventures, going to new places, exploring parts of the world I havent explored, truth is I wish I was in a fantasy world.
Do a study abroad or just travel abroad for a semester, summer, or year in between school years. It'll be a nice break from school and give you an education you can't get anywhere else. Highly recommend it. When you get back you often have better focus on what you want out of life. Nobody can be the best. Aspire to learn from others and in turn teach those around you, passing on what you've learned. And, hey, sometimes it's nice to just be content and do nothing. You don't always have to be busy. Trust me, as you get older life rarely slows down so don't take the quiet moments in between for granted. I'm almost 30 and am now at a place to work on finishing my degree. But I can at least say I've lived my 20s to the fullest and it feels as though I've lived several lifetimes worth of adventures already. You're only this young with this much energy and time on your hands right now. When you're older you may have more money but not all the time you would like to explore the world and all it's life. Most importantly, enjoy the ride and those you have around you. Find the good ones and hold onto them close for as long as you can. They won't all be around forever as people move on. Sometimes, the textbooks can wait. Cheers!

Ur so right about that. It brings back memories of when you loved skyrim but when you play its not the same anymore. I guess for me its simply that I grew up. The music will always be with me though, and i hope the next elder scrolls game can awake similar feelings. However many years that might take.
Watching this beautiful scenery and listening to the wonderful music makes me think of Skyrim Grandma 💙 She forever changed what Skyrim means to me, and it really means a lot. Also, wonderful video! Thank you so much.
I started my TES journey with Morrowind and here I am praying for the sixth one. I can't even tell you how important these games are. A truly unique escape from this bleak world to somewhere extraordinary. Damn, I wish I had a time machine so I could experience all of it again, they way I felt it back then. I'll be closing my eyes to these beautiful tracks and hoping that tomorrow is better than today. Take care brothers and sisters.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you to infinity for providing it!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ Also, thank you for not having the little AW symbol in the corner - my old-school self still worries about screen-burning, especially when I play this on my TV! Blessings to you!!!
THANK YOU!! Your videos, especially the LOTR themed ones, are so tranquil, I can't thank you enough! I cannot tell you how much they have helped me when I've been unable to sleep! I'm not sure if you'll see this, but I was wondering if you would be willing to make a music and ambience deep in the meadow/epilogue themed Hunger Games video? The music and scenery in the last scene brings me a sense of melancholy calm and it would be so lovely to experience the peace of the meadow
Yesterday I researched the illustration of a Tarot Akashic 4 Beith Birth card and today YT brings me this beautiful video, thank you intrusive algorithm: "What do birch (Beith) trees symbolize? Birch Tree Symbolism | Birch Tree Meaning As the birch is a pioneer species this gives it a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth. It's a sacred tree within the mythology of the Celts and is thought to have very protective influences."
If i was able to visit Tamriel, my favorite locations would be Summerset Isles and Cyrodiil. I think i would live in Cyrodiil not far from Anvil, and - if i had the chance - an openminded high Elf friend would invite me in "Sun's Height" to enjoy pleasures of life near Shimmerene. But i think that once a year i'd travel to skyrim to enjoy the spectacular views, the good nordic food by a warm fire, and maybe - but it would depend on my motivation - a pilgrimage in High Hrothgar. Blessed be the Aedra for Wayshrines ! 😄

By far one of my favourite Music & Ambience video on Skyrim (and overrall). The choice of the music from all the different episodes, including TESO is perfect, and the scenery is stunning! I am grateful to be able to enjoy this treasure this Autumn, Thank you!
One thing that I always enjoyed about skyrim was the sheer size of the map. Endless encounters with there being many mods out there that expand on it. You could be a Guard, baker and many more with said mods or just settle down somewhere
I don't know why Skyrim has always felt like "home" for me😍
Probably because you spent over a thousand hours there o.0
maybe its because the music comes from a freaking genius

Ur so right about that. It brings back memories of when you loved skyrim but when you play its not the same anymore. I guess for me its simply that I grew up. The music will always be with me though, and i hope the next elder scrolls game can awake similar feelings. However many years that might take.
Watching this beautiful scenery and listening to the wonderful music makes me think of Skyrim Grandma 💙 She forever changed what Skyrim means to me, and it really means a lot. Also, wonderful video! Thank you so much.
Captivated by the very beginning. Bravo
Reading some book with this behind is something that make me like i AM the book, the world write in this one. Thank you.
This has become my go-to for both reading and sleeping. Perfect harmony
Yesterday I researched the illustration of a Tarot Akashic 4 Beith Birth card and today YT brings me this beautiful video, thank you intrusive algorithm:
"What do birch (Beith) trees symbolize?
Birch Tree Symbolism | Birch Tree Meaning
As the birch is a pioneer species this gives it a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth.
😄
One of the most epic ever, great taste in choices.
Skyrim est un univers à part des jeux vidéo, sa bande originale composé par Jeremy Soule est de toute beauté. Elle est même immersive, on croirait ce promené dans tamriel.
La vidéo est sublime...
My comp died right around the time Skyrim came out, then life happened... wish I had time and $$$ to get my comp back in shape... Morrowind will always have a strong place in my heart. This mix does something to my spirit, I can't explain what, but its amazing😊
Touches my heart immediately and deeply...amazing!!
Dawns beauty, and blessings of Mara
Listening to this music feels like coming home.
By far one of my favourite Music & Ambience video on Skyrim (and overrall). The choice of the music from all the different episodes, including TESO is perfect, and the scenery is stunning! I am grateful to be able to enjoy this treasure this Autumn, Thank you!
Tyler I totally missed even coming in late for this one. I apologise as Skyrim's music is amongst my absolute favourites. Well done.
That opening hits different
Using this as my writing soundtrack for a book written in a Skyrim-esque setting 🥰
I think Oblivion has the best soundtrack of the series.
I listen to a lot of Skyrim music on yt, and this mix is one of the best. Well done, and thank you!
Magical imagery all the perfect songs from the game. Puts me to sleep and calms me like a charm!
One thing that I always enjoyed about skyrim was the sheer size of the map.
Endless encounters with there being many mods out there that expand on it.
You could be a Guard, baker and many more with said mods or just settle down somewhere
Always listen to the amazing music while falling asleep, helps me drift off ❤️❤️❤️
Beautifully done friend thank you for sharing
Another absolute masterpiece! Thank you for your hard work & what you do. Bud; in a couple months you need a Rings of Power soundtrack
damn first song straight away makes me feel emotional
Thanks for putting this together - perfect for the season, and for an author of fantasy!
I'm begging you, Twilight ambience!!!
I really enjoyed this music but not all the commercials!!!
Beautiful.
Man i need to play skyrim again
This is making my work day so much better! Thank you!
