It's not the destination...it's the journey
What fantastic rocks you can have a great time there 😊
I enjoy your trip.
I sure know that stretch of 35. I'm in Ft. Worth, made that drive more times than I can count. 35W is a pain. Granbury, Glen Rose, Stephenville, Dublin - I have a daughter who lives around there.
Silas, thank you for the fun video! I always like it when you provide location details - I like to find you on Google Maps and Streetview.
Might want to talk to him about some trailer maintenance before a road trip light's then tires
At least it was an adventure! 😅
Road trips are a blast. Don't eat so much sugar!
Those that trailer lights they make excellent. Once you get at harbor freight and they are think Wi-Fi.. connected with the truck
Those brass cow tags are money
Yes, I’ve sold tons of those. Sold her a bunch of them a couple years ago
@@moreadventuresmadefromscratch funny about no Jack in the Box in Kansas. When I lived in Montana it was 450 miles to the nearest one. One of many things I missed while living in that state.
Jack-in-the-Box? You should've asked me where to eat in Decauter.
SWEETYPIES RIBEYES downtown southwest side of the courthouse square. Order the Bacon Grease salad dressing for your salad. Sounds icky but it's delicious! And of course the biggest ribeye you're man enough to handle.
It doesn't matter what time you go south on 35W around Fort Worth...it's a CF
What a cool road trip! Love seeing other parts of our beautiful country! I've heard of the Arbuckle Mountains lol. You're right Silas, here in Washington we would refer to those as hills lol. Mt Saint Helens blew her top, and is still over 8,000 feet tall! The PNW has so many beautiful mountain ranges. Thanks for the great video!
Many of us would have been quite happy to have joined you on your excursion Silas. It would have been a blast for sure.
🏆Silas = America's Most Productive Man 🏆
Nothing better than a good road trip. Your drone footage is great
I'd love to see that show someday!! AJack in the Box is a semi-local company around here having started in San Diego. .. A joke Having grown up in a city of over a million and most cities in the greater L.A. area are that size or larger, hearing about a whole COUNTY of only 68 thousand is inconcievable... great video and a nice chage of venue...
Ha! Coolness! Granbury, Texas. My daughter used to live there. Small world sometimes.
County courthouses are on the square in center of town in most older Texas towns.
A one hour trip for me is a long way, I can't imagine driving for nine hours nowadays. I had to smile when you where saying about how old the buildings were, here in the UK we have real old buildings, I loved the open countryside, great video.
In Glen Rose, you were walking in dinosaur tracks down in the river- Glen Rose is known world-wide for that.
Awesome to see you go on a road trip! better still meet people you've sold to, you should get a stall there, if only you had the time to do that!
Sorry we missed you at Warrington Show, just so you can look it up we are in Cat Spring ,Tx just down the road .
It's nice to get away from the yard for a little bit.
Thanks for the field trip
Mr. Silas! 🤓👍
Wow I envy you getting to go to this show. Probably just as well that I don’t go because it might bring out the hoarder in me 😅
How is it possible a scrapyard fulltime of tyres and making such a roadtrip without good spare tyres how do you call this......??
These aren’t my trailers and have nothing to do with the scrapyard. I guess I didn’t make that super clear in the video, sorry
With all those tires you throw away, there's no reason to not have good tires on those trailers...no?
Not my trailers and the only tire that blew out was brand new
I feel like i do as much as you silas, but how ob earth do you find time to make a channel too, much respect man
In Canada, you can't even sell antlers
On rare occasions, I actually find time to sleep
Warrenton is a blast. Been there many times. Too bad you couldn't stay for the show. There's more junk there than any man should have LOL.
Never been. Is it larger or smaller than Canton?
Hey Silas, 😊Cool Drone footage
I’ve never been to Warrenton, but I have been to Canton several times. They look about the same size or at least a similar size.
I had a boat made out of truck hoods back in the late 60's. Spent quite a bit of time on a small.river trappimg.out.of it. Your friends boat is only the second I have seen like mine.
Silas you were one county away from me I live in Bastrop county.
GOD IS GOOD GOD IS GREAT GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL WHO READ THIS AMEN.
Holy bovine poop 💩! Those metal lawn chairs brought back memories!
😅 a junkyard Dog not breaking the laws 😅 well calling BS . Am a JYD too ,many years too sirus lol keep on scraping! Do you ever take stuff home just to later throw it back in the pile of junk .lol TC and great vids bud
Wow 😂 sell me a window switch for a 2003 Chevy Ford truck pls and hand deliverer to my house 😂
Pig in the blankets and Kolaches. You were holding a Kolache. You are very welcome! I enjoyed meeting you. I'll bring some Sauerkraut pigs in the Spring. Sean will like that lol. I enjoyed seeing that part of Texas and the backroads are the best no matter where you go. You are right about the drought the past 2 years. We have been getting some good showers lately. Hope our states get rain in the Spring and Summer.
I don't miss driving in ontario highways being a plumber I had no choice now I hardly drive.being semi retired
Try Carlyle, PA., that is an automotive swap meet.
Silas, it was cool taken-us all to see where the Antique place in Texas. lv the views coming and going back home. thanks
About the explosives truck at 2:53, that could be aircraft parts that contain pyrotechnics.
That little creek you're looking at there can be up to where you're standing in 10 minutes if it rains that looks like a perfect place for rattlesnakes
Kolaches. They are the best. On 35 between Waco and Ft Worth, stop at Czech Stop in West.
I know people who go to warrenton twice a year. I went with my daughter and was amazed!!!
Dude I understand you're trying to work but did you take your wife and kids for that trip??😮
I wish I would have seen you at Warrenton I am just set up across the street
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
Typical dealer with no trailer lights
Lol
Holy moly that place is huge.
And again are you using a drome to film with sometimes
What a cool video. Thanks for sharing your time and adventures. Peace
Wassup
Absolutely awesome!👌
Do those rocks look volcanic to you?
Fun seeing all that stuff in.
U say it was a holiday.... wht day was tht?
You should do a meet up with vice grip garage!
Most of the old court houses etc. were in what was called the town square now most are 1 way around it like a roundabout.
I can tell you here in Crockett, Texas is THE weird roundabout around a court house ever. At least I can tell you places like Groveton, Lufkin, or Nacgodoches are not are weird!
My son lives in Glen Rose, I have been there many times, there are suppose to be dinosaur tracks in that river
I noticed the river bottom was very different than most river bottoms. I didn’t realize there were tracks there tho
Fun fun
Awesome video
14:31 Your next mission Silas, a whole wall hanger. I wonder how fast it would sell? 🤔
I have sold those several times before and have 3-4 of them at the yard actually
cool!
Welcome to Texas, and to Fayette County, I might have to come up and see ya
I thought Kansas would have permanent trailer plates like most states. Have a safe trip
Breakfast of Champions!
Did you stop at the Casino at the border?
Lots of small Texas towns have the courthouse in a roundabout. Most of them were in the center of the town square. If you noticed, there was a bunch of small businesses all around the courthouse square.
Good deal, these look like the type of things I "collect"😂😂😂
Place is huge ..nice vidja
got to say, you make it envious, keep on keeping on ...
Fun fact: There’s a tech youtuber (The 8-Bit Guy) in Dallas.
🤔
we in sentinel ok
Welcome to TEXAS. Silas
