too bad they don't make a front end loader option for your big tractor....you could then use the bucket like a bulldozer and push them all to one spot, then use the excavator to pick them up and shake out any soil

Dutch elm disease that ended those elm trees?

What native tribes were in that area.

I find puff balls,as big as a basketball, fresh ,nice solid, white,sliced it up tied o eat it like a regular mushroom, but it was not the same,

Not to feel too bad. In Washington state here and have already struck out twice on finding dandelions. The first try was a success but then again, it was also the LAST success. (Right about...........NOW......is when I need to smack my head...) And hey! Just saw that one! Not sure what I'm gonna do if we ever have to start hunting for our food. I don't even know where Little Debbie lives! (OK, I'll zip it now...)

Beautiful scenery thank you! Hey I found a panel truck from 1930s and they cut the windows in and label it as a school bus. Then somebody took and made it into a trailer putting a tongue on the front of the firewall area. I remember you saying you kind of was looking for something like that.

A few months ago i found a real shitload of mushrooms 🍄 on the back side of a gigantic elm tree that died in 2022 ,the funny thing is that the tree was literally a few hundred feet from my house & just 20 feet off a well traveled bike path ....but then most city folks know nothing about mushrooms except the ones that get you wasted

Fantastic video Silas. I love watching you romp around and it wasn't until later you're out there with your son that must be a good time. You're teaching him what he needs to know you get to bond he gets to hang out with Dad it's all good. Keep up these videos both at work and at play.
