Not only a rotation of Prufrock but I also saw that the conveyor belt to remove the spoils has been installed.
Thanks Jeff
0:11. Plastics. Apron. Pellet delivery.
0:20. Casting roof. 3 temporary shelters set up along the Roof Pipeline Project. Possibly at locations where there are branches to below.
Another far right at 0:57 on the roof of BIW.
0:32. Casting east. Apron. No further progress on the screw/auger piles.
1:01. BIW. Loading docks. Bottom right. Different type of dock leveller, or possibly a ramp.
1:10. Stamping. Apron. Bottom. Blue bin. Cybertruck passenger cabin door rings.
1:21. Southend. Tank Farm. Hoses and pumps. Leak testing?
Hose runs south across the access track to a hydrant at 1:26.
Yellow cranes are both down. Dismantling or re-rigging. Not much steel stacked around the southend. Probably just enough to finish the west side. Some more over at the old ‘contractors parking lot’ that might be for the east side.
1:29. Southend, east diagonal. Retaining wall. In Brad’s video from Saturday the retaining wall had sections removed between the mounting plates for the glazing channel. Those gaps now being infilled.
Goes someway to explaining why the first 3 glazed units were removed.
1:54. Perimeter road, west. 2 workers in the middle of the road. Standing either side of the tunnel alignment. Coincidently perhaps, they may simply be setting out the pavement for line-marking.
2:13. GA, apron. Removing the parking stall markings.
2:26. GA, EOL exit. Back in action for the first time in 4 days.
Left. Locksmith’s van. Weird looking machine. A cross between a pickup truck and a van.
2:39. Highway side parking. Bottom left. Covering up a hole with steel plates. There’s a lot of interest in whatever is going on.
4:39. Temporary switchyard. Grid pattern of trenches visible. An artifact from the original build, or perhaps they are salvaging the grounding cable. I wouldn’t have thought it was worth the effort.
6:19. Recycling yard. Bottom left. Couple of bins of Model Y rear hatches.
6:58. Die Shop, south. Right. Rebar for the loading dock ramp retaining wall visible.
8:03. Westside. Tunnel Project. Rotation confirmation. A few more 10s of thousands and we should have a tunnel.
8:17. Westside. New north south road. Cable hanging from the single pole. Slowly swinging it over.
8:33. Westside. North storage. 16 Evapco units. Speculating (wildly) the works on the east side of Casting is for a tank farm, or plant structure. Roof Pipework Project passes by. Evapco units, possibly some for there
8:48. Westside. Tents. To the right, new small trailer/building. Looks like an old time rural telephone exchange.
10:01. Southend. Far right. River Road extension early works.
10:29. Southend, south. Inside. Additional excavation works.
10:39. BIW, roof. Roof Pipework Project turns south.
11:01. BIW/GA roof. Valley. Installing conduits north-south on the GA side.
The winds are too high today for the cranes to be up
@@michaeljohnson1805 If you go to 1:15 you can see the east crane is part dismantled. They might be altering it.
Very nearly finished erecting what steel is on the ground there. Only about 16 beams, no additional columns. Might finish it off with a mobile crane.
West side at 1:56, the bearer timbers for the crane have been relocated outside the building line.
Cranes operating at the Parking Garage, just lifted in a couple of floor decks.
THANKS JEFF🤗 FOR THE UPDATES 💚💚💚
With the conveyor installed they just need the cross conveyor to the spoil bunker and then they appear to be ready to start (at least from the outside).
It will be a slow start on umbilicals until they are I. Far enough to install the rest of the backup decks.
Woooo Starship testing 1:15 at Giga Texas!!! /s
😂
Enjoyed the slowdown as you approached the NW corner to provide a great view across the property to the east!
The strong winds today can take credit for any cinematic slowdowns! Sometimes we get lucky, thanks for your views!
Nice flight today!!!
Cheers Jeff.
Thank you!
So exciting! I've been waiting for this. Go Prufrock!
Thanks Jeff, great flight. Tension builds. . .. when will drilling start and will the drill pop-up inside of the main factory extension or will it pop-up outside, only time will tell !
Thanks for the update, Jeff. That was a great catch, finding the boring head having moved.
Yeee-haw!
Something I realized last night. "Construction" of GigaAustin" is just about finished. Of course we'll see site tidying up, mysterious interior comings and goings, but for all intent and purposes, Jeff and Joe's job is about finished.
1. There are no more foundation work occuriing anywhere.
2. Parking garage has about 6 more weeks of crane work.
3. Southern Extension has about 2 - 3 more months of crane work, max.
4. Main building finished.
5. Die building finished.
6. Cathode building finished.
7. West support facility finished.
8. Tunnel to be bored, but by definition, not easy to update progress by drone.
9. Main substation and BESS finished.
So, looks like an end to an era boys! It was a good run. My bet is that Tesla is going to give the construction companies in Austin a 2 - 3 year breather before they break ground on more facilities.
Semi to be build in Nevada.
Optimus is being built in Nevada.
Gen 2 line is already under construction in Austin.
Nothing else obvious in the pipeline that would necessitate a new building.
Have you noticed the Cathode Building loading docks are numbered CT1-N1, CT1-N2 etc. Suggests another Cathode Building planned.
Otherwise, yes main constructioin works (known) coming to an end.
that boring machine might have just rolled over a bit in it's sleep ;)
It's about time we see some Prufrock action and upward Tesla stock action !!!
It's already way over valued.
8:32 16 or 17 Cooling fans. Something we've never seen before onsite. Are these needed for the Southern addition?
Do you mean you haven't seen these specific ones? If not, we have indeed seen these type of units on site before.
@@sammyk874 We haven't seen this quantity before. prior to this it was onsies and twosies..... Now we have 16 or 17. (I couldn't figure out the exact number with my resolution.
@@eclecticmemes I counted 16. Weren't there quite a few at the old bag plant location a couple of years ago?
We had 4 on site, about here for ages until they were used in the battery cathode chiller plant, which appears to have room for four more, so maybe a massive upgrade to this area.
8:32. Buying in bulk, years in advance. 😑
Cathode Plant Platform could soak up 4.
Southend would also be likely. Nearest plant room is the one under the roof at 10:41.
I'm speculating the works outside of Casting will be a plant structure or tank farm. Looking at the pipework on the roof that could take a much shorter route, but has instead been installed behind the parapet, starting right where the works are on the apron at Casting.
In the contractor lots do we know which ones are for what companies or what they’re doing
Sometimes you can see signage on a trailer or a logo.
Keystone at 6:28 for example. Millar at 8:45.
Otherwise it's just by looking at the materials stacked in the lot.
Rotation Confirmation. . . Can ya dig it?😉
😂😂😂
Is it just me or is the video a little jittery? Seems like it when I go to full screen
I’ll check it out make sure it’s not me.😕
@@peterdog15it’s not you
We can see the Prufrock entry pit... where is the exit pit? It's not exactly clear.
Perhaps inside the factory.
It would be the smartest move, no exterior traffic, production cars/truck could go straight to outbound lot@@peterdog15
Does anyone know how supplies are getting in the south addition? There are no walls with load leveler openings?
If this boring is just the start of how things move into and out of the factory, that would be epic. They could come up anywhere in the factory. And leave anywhere on the property. Alien dreadnought here we come.
Cathodes from across parking lot coming up into 4680 part all from underground.
Time for some new theme music please.
Any suggestions?
Maybe try some of that upbeat stuff Tesla plays before all of their delivery events.
