The main question would be why use these Metzler TD’s VS a proper dot tire like a power cup 2’s .. ? Same amount of grip or maybe even less ? There profile is more like a racing slicks , so there’s a benefit to them over a dot tire in that category ?
I was just about to ask a similar question , how would you compare to cup 2s which is what I use at the moment . I was thinking of trying something different this year maybe TDs or vo2s .
The power cup 2 and the power slick 2 are identical tires. But the cup as the 7% tread. Can flip both and have the same profile. “The same tire” but I to am wondering about this td conspired to the slick/cup 2 seam like they are very much the similar tires
Is this tires will give a better performance on track, compared to Michelin power cup 2 ? Thanks
