Ford Fuel Vaporizer Clogged Causing DPF Faults - How To DIY Repair

In this video I talk about a Ford with a faulty DPF fuel vaporiser. What it does? How it works? How you can easily test it and possibly even clean it as well, should you have the same issues.
A Fuel Vapour Valve is an electrically heated glow plug that evaporates the diesel fuel, then injects it through a tiny orifice into the exhaust gas stream directly before the DPF
Fuel vaporiser AKA 5th injector is a major component in Diesel Particulate Filter related faults, should you be having a DPF related fault on these vehicles you would be well advised to assess the Fuel Vaporizer

​@GerardBurkeBurkesGarage quick question, was going to buy a topdon phenoix plus for doing adblue ,dpf ,egr resets, but from what I make out it's launch software , any idea what model of launch would be better than the topdon ? The phenoix plus is about £750-£800 ? See the launch x431 but there's loads of different versions and prices ? Any advice appreciated mate

They share software, Look up Thinktool as well and see which one compares to the specs you want, The Topdon phoenix is comparable to the Thinktool Master, both will be cheaper than Launch typically as Launch has a better global brand presence.
I have done a review on the Thinktool master on my channel, they are all very very similar (almost identical in every way) quality tools but better value for money will be between Topdon and Thinkcar depending on your region and sellers.
