As a Black ⚫️ Man from America 🇺🇸 I been seriously thinking 🤔 about visiting Liberia 🇱🇷. I wouldn't mind tasting the Famous Dumbouy (Vegetarian Style Hopefully) too. Nevertheless, The Book 📖: Another America 🇺🇸: The Story of Liberia 🇱🇷 and the Slaves Who Built It By: Author: James Ciment provoked my thoughts on applying for a VISA... Good 👍 Job representing 👏 our street food of Monrovia..... Respect!
Liberian here! I love that you added the we cause it's really ours! We built it together, regardless of the mistakes. I think you should visit! Team up with some folks and plan a group trip or make a Liberian friend prior. And keep doing what you're doing, learn more and ask more questions. I'm rooting for your visit. Please also remember the info you find about us in us media is very very bias in favor of the US, since they're vastly written or sponsored by Americans. So another recommendation for your research is to also find content by Liberians living in Liberia or by Liberian scholars who study Liberian history. Carl Patrick Burrowes and Robtel Neajai Pailey are two folks that offered this and you can use their sources to find more too. It helps to not play into the fears and division that keeps us separated and def helps cultivate the freedom to enjoy the country and learned so much more about our folks all across the diaspora. Wishing you the very very best brother!
Love it. I miss my country so much. Can’t wait to go back to eat real authentic Liberian food, especially that cassava leave and palm butter. Thank You for this. New sub

Everything looks delicious from the look of it except not covered for flies 😮
Some of the foods were covered oh (bread, eggs, cala, and sandwich).
We call it Accra nuts in Liberia, but the real name for it is Tiger 🐅 nuts

When they say dollar do they mean Liberian dollar or American dollar😭?
