@@joelhatterini6392 interesting. I got it with Blaine aggro simply because getting rapidash or ninetail kills them too quickly. But sometimes they flip head twice early on eh?
Celebi is my new favorite deck. I just threw a list together and it is so much fun. My "Try Hard" Deck is still Articuno/Starmie but Celebi is just so much fun. I play the base list but leaf instead of x speed
One thing that I think makes Celebi work despite the coin flips is that it has access to Erika and potion and the game having less OHKO options than standard. This gives Celebi more chances to average those numbers.
IMHO. Straight forward progression builds like Cerebi and Gardy are quite good starting point considering "this" is the 1st set. Yes, Mythical is subset of Apex. After 3 months players should get the hang of gameplay and ready for new vectors.
If you add petilil and lilligant to put out first, you put 2 energy on them first then basically get 2 energy per turn instead of 1 for celebi, and use healing on em to keep them out longer which usually takes care of their first Pokémon, got 6 energy (12 with serperior) and 450 damage with this
You can also do morelull and shiinotic instead, which can put your opponents Pokémon to sleep, and gives you longer to get serperior out if you’re not using chatot, though it does rely more on your opponents coin flips for staying asleep
How do I beat this deck I’ve lost basically everytime. I used mewtwo ex deck, moltrescharizard, starmie grenninja but everytime celebi just destroys me
I think the Blaine deck might be good against this Celebi. You just gotta move quick and low to the ground before Seperior goes online, try to KO celebi with a turn 2 ninetails or chip away with rapidash... might be a good match up against this insane deck
The deck I'm using is Jolteon + old Raichu. Pikachu and Eevee press the damage early, I usually evolve into Jolteon as soon as possible to press further and get rid of all the Pokemon that come before Celebi. I want to add that supporters are key here - I'm running 2x Giovanni, 2x Prof. Research, 2x Lt. Surge and 2x Sabrina. X Speed is important as well since it lets you retreat for 0 which lets you maintain the tempo to get to Raichu and OTK Celebi. Early Sabrinas are key as well, depending on whether the opponent sets Celebi as active or some other support Pokemon - you adjust depending on whether you have Eevee - Jolteon or Pikachu - Raichu line available in your hand.
When my buddy (who also plays Pokemon TCG pocket) told me to touch some grass, I showed him this video
The hardest coin flip to win, is pulling the cards out of packs to finish the deck list.
Im still trying to get a poliwag from GA ☠️
@@illusion_9929buy it with points lol
Use caterpi and the find a friend ability
You are no doubt one of the best informative PTCG player. Thank you. Wish to have more content!
I think I might have found a solution to it - Jolteon and old Raichu seem to do the trick. Raichu for Celebi and Jolteon for everything else.
I think delmise provides more of a early game tank if u dont get celebi and also the opporunity to swing for 90 till u get celebi
Celebi is so strong with Serperior that I was struggling to beat the CPU battle with the deck.
Charmander and Sabrina kill this deck easily
@@chefsaliva5317 Yeah and Misty automatically wins games sometimes what's your point?
Use Blaine aggro. It should be pretty quick
@@zhi1680 I did that to get the speed win but to get the no prize win I basically had to roll dice on a misty deck because the Celebi list is so fast

As a Flippy Grass GLC player, I believe in the heart of the cards!
I believe in Chatot Supremacy.

Went from running Lapras EX to Celebi EX. Love my coin flips! ❤
Guess I'm breaking out my Arcanine EX deck 😂
My goat fr

Do you suggest running the 2nd deck in video as is or to use either one chatot or one dhelmise??
I actually think the first list is probably the best one with just serperior and celebi
@@TrickyGym What about putting 2 caterpie? Will that be better? Thx for answering!
A worthy grass deck? No shot!!
Great insight!
I like using Caterpie to draw various level Pokemon from my deck

So Celebi ex is just a better version of Zapdos ex
YOOOO HE SNUCK IN THE CHATOT TECH Pog
Does Psychic affect this? Like a Jynx attacking you?
i would assume it does
why is your mew green is he sick
😂
I thought it didn’t stack but it seems it does?? This is so broken and every single person is running it rn
5 tails and one heads to many times what the frick are these odds

This celebi serperior combo makes my blood boil like this actually just unfair like why not use exeggutor and make it fair

My average head coin flips on PTCGP is around 35%. I'm both a Misty and Moltres player. Life is pain.
Welp, time to revamp my Blaine deck 😅

i think gyarados is gonna be so obnoxious
wrong you do not believe in yourself you believe in the power of all mighty celebi.
You say average but the universe doesn’t technically work like that.
