I always feel like this brand is under appreciated. I’m currently using their cleanser and eye cream, and my mom is addicted to the ultra repair cream. Their products just work.

Kat Caffrey I find it ok but not super hydrating. Also, for some reason when I wake up, it’s pilled a bit. I think once I finish it, I will move onto a stronger retinol cream from Murad. The one great thing about the FAB eye cream is that it never irritated my skin and I use it every night.

It's a pricy brand but it is the brand everyone keeps pointing me back to. I've been using the ultra repair cream off and on for a few years. I like their face cleanser the best. I have a lot of skin issues so I'm super careful about sensitive skin products.

The ultra repair cream is the only lotion I use on my face every day that doesn’t get too oily or burn my skin. My skin is very sensitive and I have eczema on my hands and face. It also gets rid of sun burns overnight for me! Every other lotion burns, makes me red, or breakout. I can also be oily and this doesn’t make me oily, but is moisturizing enough that it smooths my eczema. It’s the only lotion I’ll use!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE first aid beauty products. I live in Alberta, Canada (it's super dry here and I have dry skin) the first aid beauty ultra repair cream is the ONLY body cream/hand cream/ face cream I can actually use that will leave my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and doesn't leave that greasy feeling. I suffered a chemical burn on my hands 5 years ago while housekeeping (the cleaning products bleach was not diluted enough and I was wearing latex free gloves while cleaning ) so anything with fragrance or that isn't labeled for sensitive skin leave my hands irritated, red and scaly. I love all their products I can't wait to try their sunscreen! ☺️

Something that Hyram didn’t mention is the KP body scrub with 10% aha. While this scrub would be way way way too rough on the face it’s perfect for someone with KP (chicken bump skin). I have KP and the first aid KP scrub mixed with the Cerave SA cream has made my arms so much smoother. It’ll never be completely smooth just because that’s the nature of Keratosis Pilaris but my arms are as smooth as they’ve ever been and my arms aren’t all splotchy and red anymore. If anyone here has KP I seriously recommend looking into this duo it was a life saver!

    • @ajkoudi1619

I also have KP and use the Cerave SA cream and the First Aid scrub but if you also start using a wooden body brush with bristles in the shower you will achieve smooth skin! I get the brush wet with body wash and then do circles down my arms and legs. I follow this up with the scrub and when I’m out of the shower I use the Cerave SA cream. Since I started this routine I have achieved smooth skin after YEARS of KP. Make sure to remove the brush from the shower when you are done and let it dry completely to avoid mold. I hope this tip helps you and good luck!

    • @RylieCollins
      @RylieCollins 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

AJ Koudi I use the scrub once to twice a week and the cream twice a day morning and night! After I use the scrub I’ll often use another Cerave daily moisturizing lotion right out of the shower when my arms are still damp

As someone with chronic dry skin/eczema that sometimes breaks out on my face, I absolutely LOVE FAB/Ultra repair’s products. I have been struggling for a long time trying to find skincare that gets the job done for me and doesn’t have irritating additives. I am so glad I stumbled upon their products, and I now use their hydrating cream and barriar cream, as well as a couple scrubs and cleansers, almost every day, and am so happy to have had NO adverse reaction to ANY of their products (a definite first for me). Of course I will be buying more of their products in the future, and I would love to see more brands adopting their clean and simple take on skincare!

When I first began using Differin (July 2019), I used it on top of Cerave Moisturizing Cream and never had irritation. I noticed improvements on my dark spots as soon as two weeks. Then, at 3 weeks, my skin started the purging stage. It wasn't that bad. I can say that I saw mayor improvements like at 14 to 16 weeks. My skin was glowing and completely cleared.

Some of the best advice I got from an esthetician was to use differin as the very last step over a moisturizer at night. Also that it should only be used once a week for 3-4 months to ease into it. I tried before to use differin and stopped because my skin freaked out but doing this has helped me so much and I’m seeing results!

FAB ultra radiance pads are on ULTA 21 days beauty sale they gonna be 50% off the price small and large. Also their ultra repair face cream is also gonna be 50% off so like 11$
I totally agree with you they are amazing and I just got their coco gel moisterizer favorite thing ever..and I am more on the dry side but can't stand moisterizers on my face that are heavy I also live in a very hot humid place and in summer I don't want to sweat moisterizer..lol

This rant is for all you oily people out there (like myself):
The coconut water cream saved my life, thank you Hyram!! I use to end the day with a thick layer of oil that I could visibly see and every moisturizer I tried just made it worse. Even the ultra repair moisturizer made me feel oily. Now my face looks and feels like a normal human being and not a basket of fries lol. (This is also due to trying numerous other products hyram has recommended, but the biggest change was with the water cream) It's seriously worth a shot.

The FAB RADIANCE PADS are so mild. My chemistry degree and I would both give it a 1 on the 1-5 sensitivity scale. They are a fantastic starting point for people who want to start dipping their toes into chemical exfoliation at a good price point, and the convenience of the packaging can’t be beat.

It may be something else like syringomas or pronounced sebaceous glands due to very thin eye area. Hello Hyram! Great video as always. Just wanted to clarify that ingredients such as Limonene and Linalool are not added to the formula to boost the fragrance, they are actually components of the fragrance itself. Speaking about EU cosmetic product regulation, the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has published a list of 26 allergens that are usual components of fragrances. If these allergens exceed a certain threshold in the formula (this threshold is different for leave-on and rinse-off products), they need to be included in the product's ingredient list. That means that a product that contains fragrance but doesn't include these ingredients in the ingredient list might actually contain them, it just isn't required by regulation to mention them.

Ugh I LOVE the Ultra Repair Cream. I bought it on your recommendation - it makes my skin so nice and soft and the texture is so good. BUT it irritates the area around my eyes, which I did not expect. I was using Cetaphil moisturizer before with no irritation and have no desire to use a separate moisturizer on my eyes. I emailed FAB and they told me firmly that the Ultra Repair Cream is not intended to be used around the eyes. But now that you mention the eucalyptus... I wonder if that's what irritates me, since I don't usually react.

For those confused about the Ultra Repair Cream ingredients list. Collidal Oatmeal (0.50%) is listed as the first ingredient in the USA because it is an "active ingredient" but it is not actually the first ingredient in the formula. Also, Eucalyptus is actually not the last ingredient, but the 5th last. The way that the USA ingredient list works means that after a certain point, ingredients can be listed in any order if they are under 1% concentration. In Australia, they must be listed in exact order.

Hyram ❤️ i love your advice on skincare and i trust it so much, but id love if you could talk about comedogenic rating and fungal acne triggers in ingredients also, since lots of “good“ ingredients are not suitable for us acne prone, sensitive, dehydrated, easely clogged pores people 😭 i love you!

I'm so happy you love First Aid Beauty as much as I do! I have dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin and use ALL the items you talked about! I also used their Oatmeal Mask, but they're discontinuing it. 😭 I agree the Coconut moisturizer is amazing in the summer, and perfect for humid days, 3vwn for my dry skin. The eye cream is such a beautiful formula and Indidnt have any irritation, either. I'm almost done with my first tube, and going to try one by Kate Sommerville next.

Because I’m using an acne medicine I need more soothing skin care and first aid beauty has been a go to. I love a lot of their mask especially the bouncy and recuse mask.

I just wanted to say I have normal, sometimes dry skin and I found that the coconut water cream is PERFECT for me! I love how lightweight it is because heavier products sometimes irritate my skin. This hydrates my skin so well

I have to say, that Coconut Water Cream is amazing! I have DRY skin and I think it's amazing! It is lightweight and does soak right into the skin but it stays hydrated! My face felt so soft and supple after the first night!

This brand saved my skin!! I had perioral dermatitis come back last yearand it legit would not go away! The last time i had it, it was years of frustration.
I was recommended this but ehhh I'm recommended a lot of things since I have a skin condition. So I passed (I was told about F.A.B as I was returning ALL my bioessence I bought that did nothing for me, actually bothered my skin a little)
I was going to just go with Ceravee and cetaphil for a bit...fast forward those didn't work.
I was at ulta trying to find a skin friendly foundation or concelaer because I hated having red all the time around my nose and chin.
Im at ulta buying cover up and a FAB beauty rep was there. I was listening to the sales pitch and thought, ugh I will try one more thing and not buy the foundation.
She said i would come back and hug her because my skin will be fixed. Skeptical to say the least!
Three days later my Perioral derm that i had been dealing with for a year was GONE!!! Now I give this as a gift to people and race about this brand. Love it!! Thanks for the review!
