- This 50 minute action packed film is the second instalment of Ali Hamidi’s trip to Gillham’s Fishing Resort in Thailand.
In this film, Ali ‘ups the ante’ and sets several new fishing targets, including catching 10 Siamese Carp over a 100lbs, catching 50 Siamese in total, catching a Juliens Prize Golden Carp, and also catching 3 or more ‘weird and wonderful species.
Ali fishes on the bottom and also on the float, giving loads of rig tip and bait tips for both as he goes. Ali also puts ONE MORE CAST tackle through its paces as he goes, with great result!
This is filmed over 8 days and is absolutely jam packed with crazy bites, giant fish, tips, tricks and laughs.

I would love to see you fishing some other locations in Thailand. John Wilson fishery, Bungsamran, Leks, Loei jungle fishing lake, Jurassic or get in to the wild and fish for rohu, black shark minnows, etc.
Ali has the ability to turn a sport and much loved past time into something that's the equivalent of watching paint dry.

Was there in August,loved it had 5 big juliens including the their biggest 🥂 Siamese , Amazon red , arapaima,black shark minnow,hovens carp, Chinese black carp, would definitely go again for a Mekong

Really enjoyed these 2 Gillhams videos, just got back from there and know how fantastic the place is but what you’ve caught there in a week is incredible.
This was filmed in 2022 and the lake had only properly re-opened for a few months, so fishing was amazing! Even I could catch em! 😂❤

Julians live naturally is some southeast Asian rivers, although they’re aren’t too many left in the wild and they’re classed as endangered

Caught the 175lb Siamese last year👌🏼 only issue was all the Ari’s had died, was informed was only a couple.
the stock pond was full of them and said they were going in the month after. lots coming out on the insta of them now. Probably why you didn’t have any to.
Well done on the 175lber! 🙌🏼 Ari's are extremely delicate creatures, but yes, they have many in their stock pond that will hopefully go into the main lake soon. Tight lines!
Has anyone been Gillhams in October and know how the weather / fishing is??? Booked to take the missi for the 40th and hoping its ok
You can visit and fish Gillhams pretty much all year round, it's always hot, just sometimes it's a little wetter than others. But when it's wet, it can fish it's socks off (it hardly ever rains all day anytime of the year, and a little shower is often very welcome too to cool down) 👍🏼🎣

Bait wise, we used house boilie and pellet from Gillhams. You can take your own hookbaits - we also used Mainline Cell Cork Dust Wafters 👍🏼
