I like that this guy stays on target and gets to the point. I can't stand the videos where the host takes 27 minutes to tell you about how they used to make this or that with their great aunt or something else that has nothing to do with a recipe.
Yo buddy I just had tater tot casserole for the first time my my old coworker invited me for dinner one day cuz we weren't done for work but we're in the middle of the country but close by his house so we thought we could go get something to eat man tell you what tater tot casserole is phenomenal his wife used to make it for me at least once a week but we no longer co-workers and how I missed the tater tot casserole but I asked my sister to make it for me so I sent her your TH-cam channel to make me tater tot casserole for Christmas can't wait :-) and it's so simple to make I thought there was more to it :-)
@@JasonBolte you too buddy I once again your lifesaver for your recipe I haven't had it for a few months and looking very forward for Christmas Merry Christmas to you and your family
love this hotdish. make this often and show people who arent from minnesota down here in tennesse how we make good food while we are watching the vikes or the gophers. grew up on this. never had the cheese though.
Trying to find a good meal that both my kids would eat. That looks ideal. Basically a Shepard's pie? Simple is better sometimes and am going to try it.
I like the cheese added on top of the tots plus I try to line the tots up in even rows
Northern Minnesota in the winter time, where it is dark by 4:15 pm and snow on the ground 5 1/2 months out of the year? I know the feeling.

Hint: If you open both ends of the can of soup, you can just push the whole thing out of the can with less mess, less waste.
Great tip Sunshine! Thanks.

Why did you add 1/2 cup of milk?
I've seen other people on YT make it and did not add any milk. The only liquid they had was cream of mushroom.
Thank you good sir

That’s great. It’s a staple in our Midwest . I grew up eating it also. Thanks Mate!
