DUDE you literally saved my damn life. I was freezing my ass off in a parking lot with my running car locked and my dogs inside. Remote just Instantly went dead for no reason . I figured out myself the remote had a key in it and found where to put it but then nothing happened and I was like fuck you mini lol googled real quick and saw ur video show u have to take cap off the handle and put the key there next. For some reason though mine here in the USA though had to be turned counter clockwise to unlock it. It takes a lot more force than you would think too. Ridiculous. In this day and age u can’t get a warning from ur car ur remote is gonna die in 2 secs.
Ohh jezz this is abs freaking me out. Though I saw the flashing reds couple days before key fobs completely went dead when I was still inside my car last time :)) abs one time luck I reckon
When I have the car open en the alarm goes on and I press the start button it will not start with the spare key and the alarm still making noise. With the main key I can open it wil the remote key itself and have no problem driving. I have no idea what is the problem. I also put a new battery in the spare remote key.
Hi, my 2018 Mini Cooper S will not open the car door. It would also not start the car. I replaced the Fob Batteries and it still would not open the doors. It will start the car by placing it near the steering column. Do you know why it won’t open the doors ?
