Hey guys, disclaimer on this video: I did NOT totally solve this build. I say so in the next video but just want to clear that up here. Since i was trying to figure this out for myself i really thought i had this build right and done in my own way at this time. This has been brought to my attention and im sorry if it was misleading. There are 5 more videos after this one as of this post and im getting closer. Thanks and sorry if you were one of those people put off by it.

just go with druid if you need hp. completely ridiculous level of hp. just don't mess with the dolls. dam. dolls with amplify. dam i think it explode did % damage or not normal damage. That's why i read other druid die in 2 explosion wipe out 12k hp. dam. lol

I don't use JSP, usually play SSF so I like to see builds with items I've actually had as I never have the runes to roll enigma/grief/etc. I have a suggestion and a request. My suggestion is to add chapters to the videos so I can easily scroll to the build/combat and to showcase the gear and skills at the start of the video. My request is if you could do a very budget ww or frenzy barb, something that you could use at ladder start after minimal farming. Keep up the good work
nice video, am a big fan of the Immortal Sorc. Atm I am building one with the Act1 merc having Kukoshakaku + the (newer) piercing helmet and a biggo enchant. Basically like in MacroBioBoy's video a while ago (if you know it). But without self-wielding Infinity and instead going immortal and just (face) tanking mobbs and "Alisa" is doing all the work
I was reading a bit into the mechanics of energy-shield and immortal sorc stuff and the tldr was you basically need a lvl40 synergized e-shield, capped out resistance and adeqate damage reduction. "Absorbing" damage like from Dwarf Star is basically useless. Hope this helps, take care :)

Awesome build! I have attempted my own version of her before but i just couldn't let go of my Full Tal's Armor :) She is o.k. but i finally started working on another one with fire skills, and was thinking about a tanky version as well. Now i found almost anything in the game, but one of the few set's that i still hadn't completed yet was Natalya's - i use the boots on several builds, but never found that armor yet. It's pretty sweet indeed! I'll do some more mf's or may trade for one, but i think i can take your ideas here and make it work with what i have laying around. I already had a Fire Sunder planned and ready, just need to level up a bit more. That would thenfocus sligthly more on damage. I'm sure it will be fun :) I saw one comment abbout wanting to see her tank some souls and whatnot -i agree! Strut her stuff ^.^
I'm not a person who uses scrolls in the belt, but I got curious and just tested it out. You can simply click on the scrolls on the ground and it will automatically go into your belt. I notice you don't always have a dedicated slot for both scrolls, but it could save you some time in the future if you choose! Nice build btw :)
Yea i know that, if you have no scroll in the bottom slot though it will not automatically go in the belt. Also, multi-tasking during these types of videos will make me sometimes misclick things once in a while. Nice that you're paying that close attention! Haha

if you intend to get hit a lot, it might be possible to stack enough nova on struck items, and build around a synergized nova when struck sorc. I saw Macrobioboi test this, and it seemed to have decent kill speeds on low player counts, could be fun to work into an immortal sorc build, since you're naturally focusing your stats on integer dr, and its easy enough to have low def anyway. I think the advantage of stacking ctc nova is that you can theoretically cast more of them this way than you could cast yourself (assuming you get hit enough). Would be kinda expensive though, you'd presumably want at least 5-6 ctc items,and getting enough fcr could be a problem.
I attempted that build with another character and kept getting murdered. I think i could make it work but i have to really put some time into the gear choices to trial and error the whole thing.
Very cool build! Some pretty interesting gear choices here indeed. I don't have a lot of experience with im sorcs so just sime honest questions here: Wouldn't Frostburn gloves benefit you even more by the massive 40% to mana? Even tho you'd miss the regen and +1 to fire skills, your mana pool would grow significantly. Also I wonder why you worried about capping resistances, I thought elemental resistances didn't matter that much for energy shield. Really like your approach to the game with those off meta builds, great work man!
Hey, thanks for the comment. Maybe they would but i would miss out on 20fcr and 1 fire skill. Skills are hard to come by on this build with how i was able to make it. The max res is because whatever makes it through energy shield is then reduced by a percentage. At least, that is my understanding of how it works. Same with the magic and damage reduced, it applies after it hits energy shield and after it hits my res.
@@junqueirapedro13 I agree with that. I don't think you actually need those 20 fcr. You only use it to spam SF basically. 40% to max mana from frostburn is allot.
the bramble runeword might be interesting to test here. Missing the PLR, but adds a nice little bump to mana regen/max mana plus fire res. With the extra fire res you may be able to replace dwarf with soj(big max mana boost) or a nice rare ring. The thorns aura to help the merc and yourself return some damage to everything smacking yous 🙃

Nice to sse Gloom's Trap here ! I love that belt, and people barely speak of it. But it's a really cool belt for mana sustain ! If you are interested and if you play on Non-ladder, i can give you a 16/17 mana-life small charm to help :) (i dont use it at all)

Ever played the immortal bear necro? Bone RW armor, all kinds of elemental absorb gear, double Ber'd CoA, and then you can go creative on how you want to kill stuff. The armor autocas synergized Bone Armor making you pretty much invlunerable to physical damage, then the ele absorb gear protects against whatever else. I like having Beast on the offhand to transform into a bear, and then use a Brand demon crossbow to melee with in bear form and hit those Bone Spears (mind you Brand autocasts amp damage on everything so you can do damage with it). You can change around to use Breath of the Dying + Andy's Visage to cast synergized Poison Novas or whatever. I haven't tried it since the shapeshifter changes, so might need changing. Might be horrible now with the new bear attack frames.
Funny. I got something similar in the workings since 4ish years. I also got some tiara or coronet with 24dmg reduce and sorc skills and some 25dmg reduce amy with some useful on it. Good build
Bro your builds are really the ones that new players need to see over all of the meta crap, meta kinda ruins the game, makes it too cheesey, also haven’t finished the video but hoping you used that amulet you found lastnight on her (dmg reduced by/mana)
Man, if you already using Nat's armor, use Nat boots! Partial set bonus (2 piece) gives 15 Magic Damage Reduction, and the boots itself can rool 25% to cold and lighting res
@@off-meta-michael Yeah Decrepify from Reaper's Toll is a massiv help when dealing with bosses. Many people underestimate how useful this weapon is on your merc. I also use it on my summoner druid build.
Yea there's definitely more to try. Ill be doing some more in the future. There are some areas where the very strong poison enemies make it so we can't really just stand there. I have some more vids coming that will show how i fix those

Rep life is a useless placebo stat in PVM. The formula is rep x 25 / 256, so your 37 rep is barely 3.6 life per seconds, when not taking damage. It's useless when fights vs monsters barely last 5 seconds, and it takes minutes to be worth flat life + 1 potion. Those 3 Skulls probably didn't regen 1 Perfect Ruby worth of life in the whole video. x3 Sapphires would be much better in the armor. You'd gain around +10% mana and +10% mana regen vs the Skulls, since mana regen is based on max mana and you stack +max mana %.
hey thanks for the comment and info. however, i disagree. it's not placebo, because you can observe it healing me at all times. so when i use a regular healing potion it generates 100 replenish life on the character sheet. so wouldn't 37 replenish life from my gear be as if I have 1/3 of a healing potion going at all times? perhaps the sheet is lying or the frames work different for potions? i'm honestly not sure, but i defintely notice a difference in my builds when i have close to 40 rep life going at all times. additionally, since energy shield cannot stop poison, rep life helps mitigate poison damage after the 75% reduction. also, the skulls in the armor give regenerate mana which helps a lot. i don't see how just straight mana would help us there, especially since im already nearing 3000 mana. you said I'd gain 10% mana regen, but the skulls offer me 57% mana regen.
i run the immortal orb sorc on hc and she can run hell cows with 80+ cows and stand still for over a min no issues and i personally perfer orb over fire and my gear isnt finished yet
My boots have 20 run/walk, 40 cold and 39 light res, with 69% gold find which i like right now. And im already nearing 3000 mana and only level 84. As for demon limb: -Level 23 on it's own does 87-111 -With max warmth it does 243-310 -added with 23 fire mastery it does 691-882 That final number is displayed on the charges. It does work.
Some issues i see here: While wear Gerke's AND wizzy its a crime not to go max block, it ramp survivability aloooooot for very low dex investement. With such big DR you safe your life but not the mana...i see no reason to go mana sorc with this setup, better run vita sorc with block, also you can wear Sol'ed or Ber'ed gladiator's bane, its much better than nataly's.
Where do you get poison length reduced by 75% then? It's the only thing that gets through energy shield. You dont need max block if you're not getting hurt. I stood in the middle of terrorized exploding dolls and it did no damage. Thanks for the comment

best way to deal with dolls are ice or frozen damage. those suckers are done. lol there is nothing left to explode.

I took note of that as well and will try her out in other places. The fact that the exploding dolls didnt do jack to us has me thinking we'll be fine

I havent tried that exact setup, it sounds really cool, but i imagine it might be kinda underwhelming if the Bear frames are too slow

Thanks, yea it took me a while to get the right pieces so i could ditch insight and prayer on the mercenary
swap boots when able for rare or crafted safety. Get PSN Reduced on them and hit recovery. excellent job

"Immortal Sorceress" in 2003 = wearing Immortal King's Set.
"Immortal Sorceress" in 2023 = living forever with Energy Shield and damage reduction.
Looks solid. Im a fan of dr% and armour maxing chilling armour. Get that 12-15k defense and 89% dr kind of thing.
With prayer merc you’ll like not have to use pot ever, the +40 or something hp per tick is huge for such a small hp pool
Thats true but the whole point of my version is no prayer and no insight so that your merc can be strong enough to kill the crap outta stuff.

Yea the merc can change since with my setup we do not need insight and prayer. My act 2 merc here though has decrep
