Great haul! So far this month I've added Tista, Dandadan, Helck, The Witch and the Beast vol 8, Blue Lock vol 5, Alice in Borderland vol 5, Ayashimon, Dai Dark vol 5, PTSD Radio vol 2, Coffee Moon vol 2, and My Hero Academia vol 33.

I wouldn't call "Doomsday with my Dog" a comedy series, it's rather about the adventure and daily life of Haru and his Master, hence a slice-of-life series (I also think that is the intend of the author for the series)! Further, the last chapter is more like a what-if-scenario, like if doomsday never happend, at least that's how I interpreted it with the comments of the author in mind. Personally, I love this series, Harus seriousness and still stupid antics makes me enjoy it quite a bit.
Yeah, I agree with you about Tokyo revengers! I think the author should have added 10 years to the whole cast or at least 4 years, I don't know why he decided to make them 14/15, a lot of the stuff wouldn't even be possible (Like 10 year old driving motorcycles around town...where did they even get them). Also, also the whole series suffers from bad parenting, like really, really bad parenting: they are never there, never say anything or do anything.... You can't tell me japanese parents stop educating their children as soon as they hit 13... like what. So I pretend that the TR cast is at least 18 and all the stuff makes more sense...
Yeah I think I was expecting Doomsday with my Dog to be something else entirely honestly, and it was just so different! Haha very fun, just not necessarily what I thought, which is fine. That last chapter just left such a great emotional burden on me that I’m not ready to continue lol
And yeah TR is bizarre that way. Like I get it, the whole absent parent is a super overused trope in manga, but this is a whole new level of nonsense lmao I still like the characters but I’m trying to imagine them being older too because Oof. Kinda takes me out of the immersion otherwise.
@@Manganalysis Yeah, I understand that. When you have certain expectations about a series and they don't get fullfilled or are completely different from it, you're always left with disappointment. I also had that with other series.
And I'm not gonna lie, I also felt the last chapter hard, especially since I own a Shiba myself... Don't wanna think about it. DX
nice haul! Tokyo Revengers definitely suffers from having a too young cast. it would've made much more sense to take place in their early twenties instead of their early teens.

A manga series that I have added in my collection is The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses. I wanted buy a series that is school romance since it been awhile since I bought any and it's decent. I can't wait for the anime of it.

I actually bought the first book and ended up returning it 😩
It was good, and I enjoyed it, but not enough to justify adding it to my collection.
I have a feeling it’s going to be a long series and that’s a big investment lol
But I really liked the characters, so I may go back to it in a while and see where it’s at!
