There ARE vents for the rear passengers. Its under the front seats, just like manufacturers have been doing for decades. Slapping them on the back of the center console is a modern thing that draws attention to it so the manufacturers can charge you more.
Vents in the center console are way better than the trash under the seats. Especially when it comes to A/C. It's not even comparable feeling air blowing in your face vs feeling nothing that blows under the seat.
@@Travide maybe for the 1st minute or 2 but thats it. Once you have the temperature inside the car regulated it doesnt make a shit bit of difference? Do you lay on top of the air vents in your house? Request a table under them at restaurants....? Sounds like some diva stuff here.
@@boost331 each to their own but 98 percent of people would agree that vents in the center console make a huge difference. Even if you have a baby in the back the vents under the seat don't cut it on hot days and it's nice to the kids to get a cool breeze while in a rear facing car seat.
180hp is too little for a small hatchback? What are reviewers smoking? My Forester has constant reviewer complaints about lack of power. When I was in Texas it would zip up to 80mph like nothing. My wife is a crazy driver, and she loves this amount of power. And it's basically the same engine in a larger car. This Impreza must be tons of fun.
heavy AWD car with naturally aspirated boxer engine that produces 180 HP is really not that much. on the contrary ford's 1.6 ecoboost with the same HP is just fantanstic. so HP is not everything
no flack when civics and corollas were 110 hp for over 29 years and that ended in the late 2010 lol now its a problem for them at anything less than 200hp smh
It's not that fast in reality. Yes, city speeds or up to 60 is reasonably good in optimal conditions (1-2 passengers), no cargo. But when you start adding more variables, things don't look good anymore. Like, 4 passengers and a 2 way 2 lane road, when you have to pass an 18 wheeler truck driving 60 miles. It takes time to speed up, thus complicating the maneuver. Or add a cargo box on the top or a bike rack with few bikes at the back and now anything higher than 70 feels like an unrealistic dream.
Very fun to drive especially considering the price and lower HP small engine. The AWD system of the Subarus are second to none and make it better than any of the competitors that this guy mentioned in this video. He was obviously partial to the civic but there’s no comparison in my mind especially if you live in an area where you get some snow!!
You don't know how to drive a CVT car with PADDLE SHIFTERS. shift the paddles, use sport mode if you care for sharper "shifts". This car is a VALUE car it's a solid 8/10 car at cheaper than Toyota, Honda and Mazda.
Do not buy it. You will regret. I bought 2019 and I can not fixit myself nither the dealership...... It consume high gasoline about 9.6 L in the city and it is so slow and the problem of cvt of hestation is another problem ........
I like Subaru's especially the Crosstrek. But if they are going to offer a lower more streetable Crosstrek (Impreza) and put a red RS badge on it, it needs to back up that badge. Maybe 10 HP more, more suspension handling, spoilers, exhaust rumble, steering wheel upgrade….SOMETHING… Otherwise that badge means nothing.🥱
The '24 RS is quicker than the original RS. @@emhtptc I own one. And a dozen small hatchbacks before it. Its perfectly fine. Never a single complaint, even after 3 years of uber driving.

Bro, forgot to mention no spare tire??

Not to mention that it's 1 of 2 naturally aspirated hatchbacks you can buy new (the only other is the corolla)

Subaru needs to address the front end and infotainment
Did they stop doing paddle shifters?
Underrated compact sedan

This looks just like my 07 matrix. Except awd.
Is it port or direct injection
DI
if only reliability was still there
i will turbo mine and put a new exhaust mild though
CVT tho...
Mazda still has regular transmissions
CD player would be ideal.
There is a factory unit that offers a CD.

Well the RS has the larger 2.5 liter engine with around 30 more HP, what more do you want?
