i started with just braid gel throughout my whole hair for each twist (trying to loc them up) I have 43 twists. Its been day 2 and they look messy. Is this normal and is there any tips or tricks im missing out on to help my twists loc?
How do you tie your hair up at night? And did they look nice when you first did em? I could help with a few questions. I started my locs with comb coils over a year ago

Starting locs need to be done on damp hair right? And do I put a leave in in the hair before locking them?
